This number just sealed the Democrats’ fate in 2020
Democrats have been pinning their hopes to defeat President Trump in 2020 on Robert Mueller’s investigation.
They’ve bought into the media’s fake news narrative that Trump would be impeached before 2020.
But this number was very good news for Trump and could have sealed Democrats’ fate.
The U.S. economy grew at a stunning 4.1% in the second quarter of 2018.
Many elites scoffed when Donald Trump said his policies would unleash the American economy at a 4 percent or higher growth rate.
The so-called “experts” didn’t think it was possible.
Gross domestic product grew at a solid 4.1 percent pace in the second quarter, its best pace since 2014, boosting hopes that the economy is ready to break out of its decade-long slumber.
The number matched expectations from economists surveyed by Reuters and was boosted by a surge in consumer spending and business investment.
That’s the fastest rate of the growth since the third quarter of 2014 and the third-best growth rate since the Great Recession. In addition to the strong second quarter, the Commerce Department revised its first-quarter reading up from 2 percent 2.2 percent.
Democrats have been decrying President Trump’s tax cuts as “crumbs,” but they’re largely responsible for the growth surge the economy saw in the second quarter as Americans began to realize their larger take home pay was here to stay.
Earlier this week 2020 Democrats frontrunner Elizabeth Warren hinted at a 50% income tax rate.
If Democrats continue to run on higher taxes as Americans are benefitting from the Trump tax cuts, it will surely seal their fate in the elections.
