This GOP Senator made an impeachment prediction to Sean Hannity that left jaws on the ground
The Democrats finally scratched their itch to impeach President Trump.
Now the President’s fate rests in the hands of the Republican controlled Senate.
And this GOP Senator just made an impeachment prediction to Sean Hannity that left jaws on the ground.
Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham is one of the key Republicans that will help shape the contours of a Senate trial.
Democrats need 20 Republicans to join them in voting to convict on articles of impeachment to remove President Trump from office.
That is far-fetched.
Democrats are now hoping to hold all 47 Democrats and pick off couple weak-kneed Republicans so they can claim while the Senate did not convict the President, a majority of the Senate voted to remove the President from office.
But appearing on Sean Hannity’s Fox News program, Lindsey Graham dashed those hopes predicting that the vote to acquit the President would be bipartisan.
On Wednesday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “Hannity,” Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham (R-SC) stated that he thinks that there will be bipartisan support for acquitting President Trump in the Senate.
Graham said, “We’re going to acquit the president. I think it will be bipartisan, sooner rather than later, and the political consequences to this will be felt in the next election.
West Virgina’s Joe Manchine, Alabama Senator Doug Jones and Arizona Democrat Krysten Sinema are all representing red states and would be likely to vote to acquit Donald Trump.
All three are rabid leftists, but would love the opportunity to falsely claim to be moderates by voting to acquit Donald Trump.
