This Democrat Senator just revealed something big about Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez you need to know
Democratic-Socialists can’t get enough of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
But she’s made it clear she isn’t ready for prime time.
Now this Democrat Senator made a statement about Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez that she didn’t want to hear.
There have been rumors that Democrat leadership does not care for Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
She consistently makes a fool of herself on national television.
And she even protested outside of Nancy Pelosi’s office for not being radical enough on global warming.
The rumors were confirmed by outgoing Senator Claire McCaskill (D-MO) when she said, “I’m a little confused why she’s a thing.”
Fox News reports:
Outgoing Sen. Claire McCaskill says she’s unsure why Rep.-elect Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., has become so popular among Democrats.
But the Missouri Democrat has some advice for the young rising liberal star.
In an interview with CNN, McCaskill admitted, “I’m a little confused why she’s the thing,” after admitting she didn’t know Ocasio-Cortez when asked if the self-proclaimed democratic socialist was a “crazy Democrat” like the ones she warned about during the 2018 campaign trail. McCaskill did say the 29-year-old was a “good example” of a “bright shiny new object” that came out of nowhere and surprised people when she beat a very experienced congressman…
Despite her uncertainty about Ocasio-Cortez’s appeal, McCaskill, who lost her re-election bid to Republican Josh Hawley last month, wished Ocasio-Cortez success.
Senator Claire McCaskill gave us brief insight and a rare moment of truth into party leadership’s perspective on Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
At best, leadership is skeptical about her abilities and unsure if she a good public figure to represent the party.
At worst, they view her as incompetent and a threat to their agenda and electability in the 2020 presidential election.
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has generated a great deal of negative attention for herself and the party – and she hasn’t even served one day in office yet.
It remains to be seen how much damage she could deal serving as a Congresswoman.
