Stephen Miller’s Wife Muzzled Jake Tapper With One Simple Question That Had Him Desperate to Get Off Air

Jake Tapper thought he could control the narrative on his CNN show.
He never expected one guest to blow up his carefully orchestrated segment.
And Katie Miller justmuzzled Jake Tapper with one simple question that had him desperate to get off the air.
CNN's propaganda machine has been working overtime to rehabilitate Karine Jean-Pierre's disastrous tenure as White House Press Secretary.
Jean-Pierre's book tour has been a complete train wreck, with even liberal journalists openly mocking her inability to give coherent answers about basic questions.
But Jake Tapper invited her defenders on his show Tuesday, thinking he could spin her failures into some kind of sympathetic story.
Katie Miller drops truth bomb on live television
Stephen Miller's wife Katie appeared alongside former Hillary Clinton spokesperson Karen Finney to discuss Jean-Pierre's controversial New Yorker interview.¹
The Biden administration's former press secretary has been making rounds promoting her tell-all book "Independent: A Look Inside a Broken White House, Outside the Party Lines."²
During that disastrous New Yorker interview, Jean-Pierre referenced being a Black woman ten times and her LGBTQ status twice while dodging basic questions about Biden's fitness for office.³
Miller didn't hold back when Tapper asked for her assessment of Jean-Pierre's performance.
"What I think you're seeing and what Karen is attesting to is that she's quite incompetent to do the job," Miller said bluntly.⁴
"This is what Republicans have been saying for years now, she is just another evidence that DEI doesn't work, whether that's in a press secretary role, an air traffic controller, an air pilot, whether that's your doctor."⁵
Miller then asked the question that sent Tapper into full damage control mode.
"You know, you want to hire the best for the role, not just based on skin color. Why did she get the job over John Kirby?"⁶
Tapper's desperate defense falls flat
Finney tried to deflect by suggesting Trump's current Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt is also a "DEI hire" because she's a woman.⁷
That's when Tapper jumped in to defend Jean-Pierre, claiming she was "good" as a CNN and MSNBC commentator.⁸
But Miller wasn't finished exposing the truth about Jean-Pierre's career trajectory.
"Why has she trained every four sentences to say she is a black queer LGBTQ woman?" Miller asked pointedly.⁹
"Because that's how she's been promoted her entire career."¹⁰
The moment Miller delivered those devastating words, Tapper knew he was in trouble.
His voice literally cracked as he tried to defend Jean-Pierre's television commentary work.
You could practically see the CNN control room waving frantically to cut the segment.
Tapper immediately pivoted: "Thank you so much. Why is the Pentagon taking issue with the top movie on Netflix right now?"¹¹
Jean-Pierre's competency crisis exposed
Miller's brutal assessment aligned with what even Biden administration insiders privately admitted.
According to Axios reporting, more than two dozen former Biden officials described Jean-Pierre as "incompetent at her job" and "more interested in promoting herself than Joe Biden."¹²
The same report revealed that Jean-Pierre was only kept in the position because she was considered "untouchable" due to her close relationship with Jill Biden's top aide.¹³
Jean-Pierre's tenure was marked by constant reliance on prepared talking points, which Fox News commentator Jesse Watters mockingly nicknamed her "Binder."¹⁴

She frequently cited the Hatch Act to avoid answering questions, leading to multiple warnings from the Office of Special Counsel for actually violating that same law.¹⁵
The Biden administration was even forced to bring in National Security Communications Advisor John Kirby to handle briefings because Jean-Pierre couldn't competently field questions on major issues.¹⁶
Tensions between Jean-Pierre and Kirby became so bad that she actively blocked him from appearing at briefings, with White House aides describing it as a sign of her deep insecurity.¹⁷
Even Democratic officials criticized Kirby's increased presence, viewing it as insulting supervision of the first Black press secretary.¹⁸
Miller's two-word assessment – "DEI hire" – perfectly captured what everyone already knew but couldn't say out loud.
Jean-Pierre wasn't selected for her qualifications.
She was selected for her identity, and her disastrous performance proved it.
Tapper's panic to end the segment showed exactly how uncomfortable the truth made CNN's propaganda operation.
