Democrats respond to every tragic shooting by demanding Congress impose more gun control on the American people.

Kamala Harris seized on the Kansas City Chiefs’ parade shooting to push her anti-gun agenda.

But Second Amendment supporters called out Kamala Harris for spreading this big lie about gun violence and children.

A shooting occurred during the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl victory parade that left one person dead and over 20 others wounded.

According to police reports, a dispute between several individuals, not an act of terrorism, is what led to the shooting.

But Democrats quickly pounced at the opportunity to push their anti-gun agenda on the American people.

“We’ve now had more mass shootings in 2024 than there have been days in the year,” Biden wrote. “It’s unacceptable. We must end this senseless epidemic of gun violence tearing us at the seams.”

As usual, Joe Biden did not include any evidence to back up his wild claim about mass shootings.

Vice President Kamala Harris also seized on the tragic shooting to advance the anti-gun policies of the Left.

Gun violence is the number one cause of death for children of America—not some form of illness or car accidents,” Harris wrote.  “It doesn’t have to be this way. I call on Congress and state legislators to have the courage to act by passing common-sense gun safety legislation.

But Harris is using statistical alchemy and misleading data on gun violence from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

In the data Harris cites, the CDC considers 18 and 19-year-olds as “children.”

This massively skews the numbers.

When 18 and 19-year-olds are removed, the numbers then show more children died in motor vehicle accidents than they did from gun-related deaths.

“But Breitbart News dug into the CDC figures and ascertained that the only way to make the claim work is to count 18 and 19-year-olds as children,” Breitbart reported.

“But if one does a custom search on the CDC website to adjust the category of children to include only those aged 0-17, only those below voting and military age, then the outcome completely flips,” Breitbart continued. “One sees that the number of firearm-related deaths for children aged 0-17 was 2,281 in 2020, while the number of motor vehicle deaths for the same ages was 2,503.”

Democrats continue to show that they will never let a good crisis go to waste.
