Sean Hannity revealed one brutal truth about Critical Race Theory
Parents across the country are fighting back against Critical Race Theory being taught in schools.
But they had no idea what they were up against.
And Sean Hannity revealed one brutal truth about Critical Race Theory.
On Thursday night, Hannity interviewed Leesburg, Virginia Parent Xi Van Fleet.
Van Fleet went viral during a school board meeting blasting Critical Race Theory as similar to the Communist Chinese cultural revolution under Chairman Mao that Van Fleet survived when she was a child in the 1960s.
“We are teaching our children to be social justice warriors and to loathe our country and our history. Growing up in China, all of this sounds very familiar. The Communist regime uses the same critical theory to divide people. The only difference is they used class instead of race. This is indeed the American version of the Chinese cultural revolution,” Van Fleet declared.
On Sean Hannity’s program Van Fleet took her warnings to a national audience.
“I just want to let the American people know that what is going on in our schools and in our country is really a replay of the cultural revolution in China,” Van Fleet declared.
Van Fleet compared Critical Race Theory – which teaches that America is a nation founded on white supremacist institutions and that some races are worthy of shame – to what the Communists in China used to conquer the country and kill millions.
“[Critical race theorists] use the same ideology, the same methodology, even the same vocabulary. The ideology is cultural Marxism,” Van Fleet added.
Van Fleet said the Communist Chinese Cultural Revolution was the equivalent of modern day cancel culture except that what got canceled was the entire Chinese culture.
“We basically canceled the whole Chinese civilization pre-Communism and we changed our school names, street names, store names, even our personal names,” Van Fleet declared.
Van Fleet noted this early version of “woke” politics is similar to what’s playing out in America today where social justice warriors and Black Lives Matter rioters are demanding schools and military bases be renamed while tearing down statues honoring historical figures.
“Wokeness – to be specific – we used class wokeness in China,” Van Fleet concluded.
