Rush Limbaugh’s successor revealed the big way his show would be different

Radio networks are moving to put a new show and host in Rush Limbaugh’s old time slot.

There will be a new twist on the program.

And Rush Limbaugh’s successor revealed the big way his show would be different.

Cumulus Radio announced conservative podcaster, social media star, and Fox News contributor Dan Bongino will host a show in the noon to three pm timeslot formerly occupied by Limbaugh.

Bongino’s show will begin in May and Bongino began giving interviews to preview how he intends to position his show in a post-Limbaugh talk radio landscape.

In this interview, Bongino admitted Biden being so boring would make for a more difficult show even thought Bongino thought Biden was a terrible President.

“I think Biden is a disaster for the country and his ideas are an atrocity. But he’s boring. He’s just boring,” Bongino stated. “Biden, not only do I think is a terrible President in these last few months, it’s just terrible for talk radio.”

But Bongino did say Biden presented an opportunity to improve as a radio host because Donald Trump and his personality made it very easy to host a talk show.

“I’ll tell you that it’s made me, I believe, a better broadcaster and host because you really had to dig. You’ve had to find interesting angles to stories. And Donald Trump was just a cornucopia of material,” Bongino continued.

By that, Bongino meant that you had to develop a stronger connection with the audience by approaching Biden beyond just routine bashing of his radical policies.

“He’s boring and again I think he’s terrible, but you want to cover it in a way that people find interesting without just saying everyday ‘Biden’s terrible.’ That’s not a show,” Bongino concluded.
