Rachel Maddow was a nervous wreck when she found out one career killing truth

Rachel Maddow has seen her ratings tank and her credibility evaporate.

That’s because she spent years hyping the Russia Collusion Hoax only to be exposed as a liar.

And now Rachel Maddow was a nervous wreck when she found out one career-killing truth.

No cable news anchor was harder hit by the revelations in the Mueller report that the idea of collusion between the Trump campaign and the Russians was fake news than Rachel Maddow.

Maddow made every development in the Russia story the centerpiece of her show for two-and-a-half years while hyping to her audience that proof Donald Trump was a traitor was just around the corner.

That conspiracy-mongering led Maddow to have the number one show on cable news.

But when the truth came out and Maddow’s audience realized she had been lying to them for years, they abandoned Maddow’s program and ratings went into the toilet.

The Daily Caller reports:

Fox News had the four highest rated cable news programs for the month of July, while MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow continued to see her ratings stagnate.

“The Rachel Maddow Show” fell to fifth it total viewers this month, behind Fox News’ “Hannity,” “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” “The Ingraham Angle,” and “The Five,” according to Nielsen Media Research.

Maddow averaged 2,487,000 per night this month, a slight improvement from the month of June in which she averaged 2,450,000. However, Maddow fell from third to fifth as all of Fox News’ cable programs saw their ratings grow at a higher rate. It was the first time since October 2018 that Maddow’s show fell out of the top three.

Maddow also fell to fifth in the crucial 25-54 age demographics, averaging 384,000 viewers. Hannity and Carlson also finished first and second in that category, averaging 527,000 and 519,000 viewers respectively.

There is no end in sight to Maddow’s free fall.

MSNBC pays her 10 million dollars a year to deliver an audience.

Maddow can no longer deliver on that promise.

How much longer will MSNBC want to have her as the highest paid star on the network?
