House Democrat attacks Pete Hegseth over DEI
Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth was tasked with ridding the military of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI).
Former President Joe Biden turned the armed forces into a sociology experiment with mandatory training for soldiers on the proper use of pronouns and critical race theory.
Nearly 400 books were removed from the Naval Academy’s library on Hegseth’s orders that violated the Defense Department’s ban on DEI.
House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) recorded a video for social media where he accused Hegseth of being a DEI hire.
“These DEI hires in the Trump administration, like Pete Hegseth, the so-called Secretary of Defense – Dumb Effing Individuals – continue to try to test our resolve and cancel our history,” Jeffries began.
Democrats smear any attempt to remove inappropriate material as a book ban.
“The latest is a book ban at the Naval Academy that removes works, including those about slavery, the civil rights movement, and the Holocaust. At the same time, keeping books written by Adolf Hitler,” Jeffries raved.
Jeffries continued to play the Hitler card in his tirade.
“Apparently for these extremists, racist Nazi ideology and White supremacy is okay. We’re going to keep the pressure on these extremist who continue to try to whitewash our history,” Jeffries ranted. “We’re going to keep the pressure on until this book band is reversed and Pete Hegseth is fired.”
Jeffries and Democrat leadership are feeling the heat from the party’s base because they believe they’re not doing enough to fight President Donald Trump.
The House Minority Leader recorded an unhinged rant to throw some red meat to his angry base.

Hegseth mocked Jeffries for his video during an appearance on Fox News Channel’s Sunday Morning Futures.
“The Democrats are mocking the efforts and mocking you,” host Maria Bartiromo stated. “Hakeem Jeffries released a statement on Threads saying the so-called defense secretary has ordered 400 books removed from the Naval Academy. He came up with a new description of DEI, I’m sure you saw that, ‘dumb effing individuals, DEI.’”
“Oh boy, that’s how far they’ve fallen,” Hegseth said with a laugh. “That’s — it’s astonishing, not surprising.”
Hegseth noted that while Democrats were recording videos for social media, the Trump administration was taking action to solve the country’s problems.
“Of course, they don’t like the fact that we’re ripping DEI out of the military and making it colorblind and merit-based,” Hegseth explained. “If their whole strategy is, I don’t even know how long the video was, didn’t see it, minute-long videos on TikTok to call us names while we secure the southern border, kick out Chinese influence, promote the warrior culture inside our military.”
DEI is unpopular with voters but Democrats have decided that’s the hill they’re going to die on.
“That’s why they lost in a historic fashion to President Trump last time, and their future looks bleak as well,” Hegseth added. “So we’re looking at all the ways in which our military academies educate and giving guidance to get rid of DEI. And I think the American people appreciate that.”
Hakeem Jeffries has to record videos on social media to placate his base while Pete Hegseth is transforming the military.
