One Republican just had the perfect reaction to baseball moving the All-Star game out of Atlanta
Major League Baseball is now part of the Left’s woke corporate battalion of ideological enforcers.
That decision just blew up in the league’s face.
And now one Republican just had the perfect reaction to baseball moving the All-Star game out of Atlanta.
Republicans are starting to rethink their traditional alliance with corporate America.
After woke CEO’s pressured Major League Baseball to move the 2021 All-Star game and draft out of Atlanta based on lies about the Peach State’s new election integrity law, Republicans began to look for ways to fight back.
Texas Governor Greg Abbott announced he would boycott throwing out the first pitch at the Texas Rangers’ home opener in protest over baseball relocating the Midsummer Classic out of Georgia.
“I was looking forward to throwing out the first pitch at the Texas Rangers’ home opening game until @MLB adopted what has turned out to be a false narrative about Georgia’s election law reforms. It is shameful that America’s pastime is being influenced by partisan politics,” Abbott wrote.
Abbott said that he would not “participate in an event held by MLB, and the State will not seek to host the All-Star Game or any other MLB special events.”
Conservatives are starting to organize around the idea that they also need to start to threaten economic boycotts of companies that attack their values and seek to overturn the will of voters by opposing policies enacted by their elected Representatives.
Liberal activists use the threat of boycotts to bully corporate executives into signing on to their radical agenda.
Now that corporations act as quasi-government entities in dictating public policy, many on the right now believe it is time to fight fire with fire.
