Never-Trumper John Kasich just pitched a hissy fit on CNN about the caravan
John Kasich still hasn’t recovered after the beat down he was given in the 2016 Republican primary.
So he never misses a chance to attack Trump.
And he just made a fool of himself during this nationally televised tirade about the caravan.
The caravan of illegal immigrants is closing in on our southern border.
Secretary of Defense James Mattis ordered 800 more troops to the border to prepare for the growing caravan of at least 7,000 people.
No one really knows who is in the caravan or what their true intentions are.
But leftists are using the caravan as a tool to portray President Trump as heartless and racist.
And Ohio Governer John Kasich joined in with this insane anti-Trump guilt trip on CNN:
KASICH: “You know what? We’re born in America. You know how lucky we are to be born in America and not be born in Guatemala, where they would say to your daughter, you know, if you don’t do what we want, we will rape your daughter or we will kill your son if he’s not a drug mule? Now, they’re marching north. And, you know what? It could easily have been all of us, that we’re in the caravan, that we’re marching north, trying to save our families and save our children.
“We got to start putting ourselves in the shoes of other people. We’ve got to start thinking about the consequences that others suffer. And if we’ve been spared those by the grace of God, let us be appreciative, let us count our blessings and let us reach out to those who have less and let’s stop putting up walls around ourselves and not understanding the plight, the trouble, and the problems of others. It is not right, and the Lord doesn’t want it, and our people at their hearts want to reach out to others. Look at what they do in these storms. They go and they rescue people they don’t know. They put ’em in their homes. They feed ’em. That’s America! Not all this garbage and this division and yelling and screaming and hatred on all sides.”
Kasich invoking God to virtue signal about the caravan of illegals is despicable.
He is trying to guilt Americans into opening our borders to anyone and everyone – no questions asked.
America already takes in roughly one million Strong>legal immigrants every year.
But no number is high enough for pro-open borders politicians like John Kasich.
The truth is America is the most generous nation in the history of the planet.
But without borders, we cease to be a nation.
