Nancy Pelosi went on TV and made a big announcement about her future

Nancy Pelosi is the first Speaker of the House to regain the position after losing it.

Entering 2020, some thought her future was in doubt.

And now Nancy Pelosi went on TV and made a big announcement about her future.

Appearing on fake news CNN’s State of the Union, Nancy Pelosi told host Jake Tapper that she would seek another term as Speaker of the House if Democrats maintain their majority in the 2020 elections.

Pelosi also noted that it would not matter if the Republicans held the Senate and acted as a check on the Democrats socialist agenda.

POLITICO reports:

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said on Sunday she’ll seek another term as speaker should Democrats keep the House majority in the Nov. 3 elections.

Asked directly by host Jake Tapper on CNN’s “State of the Union” whether she will run again, Pelosi responded: “Yes, I am. But let me also say that we have to win the Senate.”

Some pundits wondered if Pelosi would face a challenge from the Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez wing of the party if Democrats maintained the majority.

The socialists would see a Democrats’ sweep, where Joe Biden wins the White House and Democrats control both houses of Congress, as the prime moment to ram their socialist agenda into law.

Pelosi going on fake news CNN and preemptively announcing her intentions to seek another term as Speaker of the House is her way to ward off any potential challenges.

Democrats have been united in their hatred of President Trump.

But if Joe Biden wins this election, the divisions on the Left could explode into the open as socialists like Ocasio-Cortez push for votes on unpopular agenda items like a complete government takeover of healthcare and the Marxist “Green New Deal.”
