MSNBC Morning Joe host is in hot water after calling a Trump official a gay slur on air
The media spends day and night attacking Trump for using “politically incorrect” language.
But they don’t abide by their own PC rules.
And now one MSNBC host found herself in hot water after what she said on live television.
Morning Joe co-host Mika Brzezinski used a gay slur that shocked everyone.
MSNBC even attempted to censor it.
But it was too late.
While criticizing Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, she called him a “Wannabe dictator’s butt boy.”
The Guardian reports:
Mika Brzezinski, co-host of Morning Joe, has swiftly apologized for remarks she made on her MSNBC program directed at the secretary of state, Mike Pompeo, that were widely criticized as homophobic.
Brzezinski was commenting on an interview Pompeo had given to Fox & Friends in which he said the CIA’s conclusion that Saudi Arabia’s crown prince, Mohammed bin Salman, had ordered the murder of dissident journalist Jamal Khashoggi were inaccurate.
“Why doesn’t Mike Pompeo care right now?” she asked. “Are the pathetic deflections that we just heard when he appeared on Fox and Friends … is that a patriot speaking, or a wannabe dictator’s butt boy?” she asked.
The network seemingly attempted to bleep out her comment, often used as a derogatory term for homosexual men, but was unsuccessful in doing so.
If a conservative used such language, they would be fired on the spot.
But because Brzezinski is a leftist, her media pals are rushing to her defense.
She later issued a non-apology via Twitter.
Recently, comedian and actor Kevin Hart was forced out of hosting the Oscars for an un-PC gay joke over a decade ago.
University of Oklahoma quarterback Kyler Murray was smeared by members of the media for using un-PC language in a tweet to his friends when he was 14 years old – immediately after he was awarded the Heisman trophy.
The left wants anyone who’s ever said anything politically incorrect to be fired and have their reputation ruined for life.
But they think the rules don’t apply to them.
Some are calling for Brzezinski to be fired from her role at MSNBC. What do you think? Vote in our poll.
