Mitt Romney just made this shocking confession about Donald Trump

Mitt Romney is a charter member of the Never-Trump movement.
Romney will do anything to stop Donald Trump in 2024.
And now Mitt Romney just made this shocking confession about Donald Trump.
Mitt Romney admitted to reporters that as much as he would like to stop Donald Trump in 2024 that Donald Trump is likely to win the GOP nomination.
“I think President Trump is by far the most likely to become our nominee,” Romney told reporters during a gaggle at the Capitol. “If there’s an alternative to that, it would be only realistic if it narrows down to a two-person race at some point.”
Romney’s remarks came on the heels of a new Harvard/Harris poll that showed Trump leading Florida Governor Ron DeSantis by 23 points.

Romney worried that RINO former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley and a procession of other candidates would leave a divided field allowing Trump to win on the strength of his base.
“There’s always a personal interest on the part of the campaign — particularly the campaign staff, and consultants, as well as the candidate — to stay in. And to say, ‘Hey, look, I came in second. So I’m the person that really ought to get the nomination four years from now,’” Romney added. “And so it really is up to the donors and and other influence people that know the candidate, his family or her family, to say, ‘Hey, time to move on.’”
Needless to say Romney again doubled down on working to re-elect Joe Biden if Trump won the nomination.
“I won’t be supporting President Trump,” Romney concluded.
The Harvard/Harris poll also debunked another Never-Trump talking point – namely that Trump can’t win.
This survey showed Trump leading Joe Biden by five points and Kamala Harris by seven in hypothetical matchups.

Mitt Romney lost the 2012 election and then tried to sabotage the 2016 and 2020 campaigns with his anti-Trump activism.
And it seems like Romney has not learned his lesson.
