Donald Trump’s endorsement propelled Hillbilly Elegy author J.D. Vance to victory in the Ohio Senate Republican Primary.
Before Trump endorsed Vance, he languished in the middle of the pack in a crowded Primary where multiple candidates competed for the Trump label.
After Trump’s endorsement, Vance rocketed to first place.
Washington, D.C. Republicans hoped that Vance would fall flat on his face to allow RINOs like Mitch McConnell and Mitt Romney to seize back control of the Republican Party from Trump’s grassroots supporters and exile him from the GOP.
The Swamp secretly rooted for RINO Ohio State Senator Matt Dolan – whose family caved to the woke mob and changed the name of the Cleveland Indians to the Guardians.
Dolan also opposed legislation to ban abortion when doctors detect a fetal heartbeat.
But on Primary night, Vance surged to 32 percent of the vote and won by nine points.
RINO Matt Dolan finished a distant third place.
After Vance’s win, Mitt Romney admitted to POLITICO that Donald Trump was still the dominant figure in the GOP, and that if he wants to run for President in 2024, he will win the GOP nomination.

And while Romney twice voted to convict Trump in impeachment trials, speaking out against him more than any other sitting GOP senator, the Utah Republican also concluded that anyone who argues the former president is fading away is not tethered to reality.
“I don’t delude myself into thinking I have a big swath of the Republican Party,” Romney said in a Wednesday interview. “It’s hard to imagine anything that would derail his support. So if he wants to become the nominee in ‘24, I think he’s very likely to achieve that.”
Congressional Republicans from both wings of the Republican Party agreed that Donald Trump’s endorsement proved pivotal in the Ohio Republican Senate Primary.
“There’s never been an endorsement in American history that has the political punch that President Trump’s endorsement has,” conservative Congressman Jim Jordan stated.
“I told you the endorsement was going to matter. And it did,” retiring Ohio RINO Senator Rob Portman admitted. “He has a very high approval rating among Republican Primary voters.”
The results from the Primary season will likely determine if Donald Trump runs for President or not.
J.D. Vance’s victory on the back of Donald Trump’s endorsement makes a 2024 campaign more likely.
Even Mitt Romney knows this is true.
