Michelle Obama admitted something about her marriage that no one ever suspected

Former First Lady Michelle Obama is the most controversial woman even to hold that position.

In 2020, Michelle Obama has done nothing to change that reputation.

And now Michelle Obama admitted something about her marriage that no one ever suspected.

One way Michelle Obama is attempting to help Joe Biden win the Presidency is reaching irregular voters through her podcast.

While the message Obama regularly communicates through her podcast is intensely partisan and anti-American, Obama tries to keep some content nonpolitical so as to have it appeal to a mass audience and not drive away listeners who may exist outside the political bubble.

In the latest episode, Michelle Obama tried to walk this line by discussing her marriage to Barack Obama.

The former First Lady claimed at some points she wanted to “push Barack out a window” during the ups and downs of married life.

“There were times that I wanted to push Barack out of the window. And I say that because it’s like, you’ve got to know the feelings will be intense. But that doesn’t mean you quit,” Obama stated. “And these periods can last a long time. They can last years.”

Obama told her audience that when looking for a husband or wife you should look for your version of “LeBron James” and not settle.

“You want LeBron [James]. You don’t want the guy, third row on the bench, who didn’t make the team, but we often don’t think about that,” she said, offering advice to those looking for their partner by likening the process to assembling a basketball team. “What you’re supposed to say is, ‘I have married LeBron. My version of LeBron.’”

Obama includes stories like this so listeners who aren’t there for politics don’t think they are being beaten over the head with election year politicking.

That way Obama can build the largest podcast audience possible for when she does want to drop her message to try and elect Joe Biden and defeat Donald Trump.
