Mark Zuckerberg just turned his war against conservatives up to 11
Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and other social media websites are widely known for their blatant censorship of conservative content.
Facebook’s CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, isn’t even trying to hide his political agenda anymore.
Now Zuckerberg is dramatically escalating his war against conservatives on social media and every Trump supporter should be worried.
Mark Zuckerberg’s Facebook reportedly spent a record amount on Swamp lobbying in the second quarter of 2018 as the company has come under fire from Republicans and Democrats over censorship, privacy, and “fake news.”
Facebook reportedly spent $3.67 million on lobbying from April to June, which was $1 million more than it spent during the same time frame last year and higher than its previous record of $3.3 million in the first quarter of 2018, according to a Monday report in The Hill.
The company, which is reportedly going on another lobbying hiring spree, also spent money to lobby on “high-skilled immigration issues and trade,” which have been important issues for Facebook since it started ramping up its D.C. presence.
Facebook spending more money on lobbying means bad things for conservatives.
Mark Zuckerberg and many of members of Facebook’s leadership team contributed to both Barak Obama and Hillary Clinton’s campaigns.
Their recent attempts to prevent the distribution of what Silicon Valley deems “Fake News” is simply a disguise to censor conservative content and push the left’s ideology.
When Mark Zuckerberg testified in front of the Senate, Ted Cruz grilled him for Facebook’s blatant attempts to silence conservatives on social media.
Now, Facebook is attempting to influence Congress on immigration and trade.
This may simply be an attempt to use Facebook’s massive platform and budget to sabotage the President’s agenda.
Between Zuckerberg’s political contributions, censorship, lobbying and political agenda, Trump supporters and conservatives should be very worried about Facebook’s activities.
Not only that, but Facebook is partnering with CNN and other fake news organizations to the tune of $90 million to push their content in users’ newsfeeds, crowding out the alternative conservative outlets that have become so popular online.
UPDATE 7/26/18 8:30AM EST: Facebook announced disappointing earnings due to a loss of users over the second quarter. The stock is down more than 20% in pre-trading hours.
