Leftists went into total meltdown after Trump entertained this plan for National Guardsmen

The Left thought they had Trump’s immigration agenda under control.

But then Florida’s governor made an announcement that sent them into complete panic mode.

And Democrats went into total meltdown after Trump listened to how Ron DeSantis wants to use Florida’s National Guard.

Trump and DeSantis unveil game-changing "Alligator Alcatraz" plan

President Donald Trump and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis are pushing forward with a revolutionary plan that has Democrats absolutely terrified.

Florida has submitted a proposal to deputize National Guard Judge Advocate General officers to serve as immigration judges, which could dramatically speed up deportation decisions.

The plan represents the most aggressive state-level immigration enforcement proposal in American history and is currently awaiting federal approval.DeSantis is seeking President Donald Trump’s approval to deputize the National Guard to serve as immigration judges. "We’re ready, willing and able to take it to the next level. We have submitted plans to DHS to say if this is approved, we will go off to the races," DeSantis announced during a press conference with federal immigration officials.1,2

The plan would allow Florida to handle immigration cases "from soup to nuts, from apprehension to detention," as DeSantis put it during his announcement with federal immigration officials.3

But the Left’s reaction has been absolutely unhinged.

Democrats shriek about "constitutional violations"

The moment Trump and DeSantis announced their plan, Democrat politicians and activist groups went into full hysteria mode.

Adriana Rivera from the Florida Immigrant Coalition immediately blasted the proposed plan, telling Newsweek: "To Governor DeSantis, we would remind that, yes, the U.S. Constitution guarantees due process rights to all individuals, regardless of immigration legal status. And no, immigration hearings are not ‘O.J. Simpson trials’ as he hyperbolically but very seriously claimed during today’s pantomime."4

State Representative Anna Eskamani, a Democrat from Orlando, completely lost her mind over the announcement.

Eskamani claimed that Trump and DeSantis "are more concerned with strong man politics than they are with the U.S. Constitution," and criticized that "Florida is a very diverse state. We’re highly reliant on immigration for our workforce, whether it is tourism, construction, agriculture."5

Translation: Democrats want to keep exploiting cheap illegal immigrant labor and they’re furious that Trump and DeSantis are going to stop it.

The Left’s hysterical meltdown reveals their true agenda

What’s driving Democrats absolutely crazy is how smart this plan actually is.

DeSantis explained that these are "not Article III judges. They are executive branch employees, basically. We can absolutely deputize judge advocates from our National Guard units to serve as immigration judges."6

The proposal specifically targets people who have already been through the system and failed to comply with removal orders.

As DeSantis pointed out, there are "tens of thousands of illegal aliens in Florida at a minimum that have already been issued final orders of removal, and there’s hundreds of thousands of them throughout the United States of America. So they’ve had a lot of process. They’ve been ordered to be removed."7

But Democrats don’t want to hear about facts or legal precedent.

Rivera from the Florida Immigrant Coalition went into full victim mode, claiming the plan represents "theater" and accusing officials of "blaming the judicial branch for upholding the U.S. Constitution."

Here’s what she’s really saying: Democrats want illegal immigrants to game the system indefinitely while Americans foot the bill.

Florida’s blueprint awaits federal approval

If Trump’s Department of Homeland Security approves Florida’s request, the Trump-DeSantis partnership could revolutionize immigration enforcement.

Florida’s comprehensive Immigration Enforcement Operations Plan includes "new detention facilities and expanded apprehension efforts" plus the proposal to "deputize Florida National Guard JAGS as immigration judges."

The proposal follows Florida’s Operation Tidal Wave, which resulted in 1,120 arrests working with federal authorities. The operation focused on dangerous criminals including MS-13 and other violent gangs.8

If the proposal is approved, DeSantis says the state can rapidly expand detention facilities using the same efficiency they deploy for hurricane response.

That’s exactly what has Democrats in such a panic.

They know this isn’t just about Florida – it’s about creating a nationwide template that could revolutionize immigration enforcement if other states follow suit.

Expert analysis confirms Democrats are wrong about the law

Legal experts have pointed out that Democrats’ constitutional objections are questionable.

The proposal aligns with President Trump’s authority as Commander in Chief and "could help expedite the Republican’s plot to carry out mass deportations," according to legal analysis.9

Immigration judges are executive branch employees, not federal Article III judges who require Senate confirmation.

The JAG officers DeSantis wants to deputize already have extensive legal training in military and administrative law.

But Democrats don’t care about legal precedent – they care about protecting their open borders agenda.

Representative Eskamani perfectly revealed the Left’s real motivation when she complained about pulling "resources away from public safety, emergency management and our local coffers."

She’s essentially arguing that Florida should ignore federal immigration law to protect illegal immigrants who drain state resources.

The Left’s desperation shows Trump is winning

The sheer hysteria from Democrats proves just how effective this plan will be.

Eskamani has repeatedly called DeSantis’ immigration enforcement efforts "political stunts" while arguing that "FDEM should be focused on responding to hurricanes and natural disasters — not engaging in immigration enforcement."

But here’s what Democrats refuse to admit: illegal immigration IS a disaster that requires emergency response.

The fentanyl crisis killing tens of thousands of Americans each year. Gang members terrorizing communities. Criminals who ignore deportation orders and commit more crimes.

Trump and DeSantis understand that protecting American citizens requires using every available resource – including the National Guard.

Democrats’ meltdown over "Alligator Alcatraz" shows they’re more concerned about protecting illegal immigrants than protecting Americans.

But their days of blocking real immigration enforcement are numbered.

With Florida’s comprehensive proposal awaiting federal approval, red states across the country now have a potential blueprint for taking immigration enforcement into their own hands.

No wonder Democrats are in full panic mode.
