Democrats spent years lecturing Americans about accountability and oversight.

Now they're running for cover as their own lies catch up with them.

And Laura Ingraham discovered one damning video of Jill Biden on the ground in Minnesota celebrating looters.

Jill Biden toured Minnesota while billions vanished into fraud

Fox News host Laura Ingraham shared a stunning discovery that blew open the scandal now consuming Minnesota Governor Tim Walz's administration.

A 2022 video resurfaced showing First Lady Jill Biden traveling to Minnesota to tout the billions of federal dollars flowing into child care through Joe Biden's American Rescue Plan.

Biden visited the University of Minnesota's Child Development Laboratory School in February 2022 alongside Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra and Governor Walz.

She praised the nearly $40 billion in relief funds the American Rescue Plan allocated to keep child care centers from collapsing during the pandemic.

Minnesota alone received more than $500 million of that federal funding.

Biden emphasized the funding was critical for families and the economy, claiming the money would allow parents to return to work.

She emphasized how the funding would support working families and help keep child care workers on the payroll.

The First Lady never mentioned anything about fraud prevention or oversight requirements for the massive sum of taxpayer money flooding into the state.

Fast forward to 2026 and federal prosecutors estimate that criminals stole at least $9 billion from Minnesota's social services system.

That's potentially half of the $18 billion in Medicaid and social assistance programs administered under Walz's watch.

The Biden administration created the perfect environment for massive theft

The timing couldn't be more damning.

Jill Biden showed up in Minnesota to celebrate billions in federal spending just as fraudsters were ramping up operations to loot those exact programs.

The Feeding Our Future scandal alone saw $250 million vanish into fake meal programs for children who didn't exist.

Prosecutors have charged 78 people in that scheme, with funds laundered overseas or spent on luxury items while kids supposedly went hungry.

The Trump administration just discovered the problem went far beyond one nonprofit.

Federal investigators found fraud across 14 different Medicaid programs that Minnesota flagged as having "significant fraud problems."

Assistant U.S. Attorney Joseph Thompson called it "industrial-scale fraud" and suggested total losses could exceed $1 billion across multiple programs.

Empty daycare centers with misspelled signs received millions in taxpayer funding despite having no children present during inspections.

One facility called the "Quality Learing Center" — they couldn't even spell "Learning" correctly — pulled in nearly $8 million in government money since 2019 while racking up 95 safety violations.

The Trump administration exposed how the Biden administration's American Rescue Plan created the perfect conditions for this theft.

Biden officials waived audits, ignored whistleblowers, and relaxed verification rules in favor of equity-based distributions.

Federal prosecutors discovered that the administration's rules required states to pay child care providers before verifying attendance and before care was even delivered.

Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. just rescinded those Biden-era regulations that essentially invited fraud.

"When controls are not in place, bad actors can bill for children who aren't there," said Assistant Secretary for Family Support Alex Adams.

The Trump administration froze federal child care funding to all states while implementing new verification requirements.

States must now prove the money is being spent legitimately before receiving another dime.

Government redistribution always creates opportunities for theft

Here's what fires conservatives up about this entire debacle.

Jill Biden paraded around Minnesota bragging about the Biden administration's generosity with taxpayer money while the largest fraud scheme in American history unfolded right under her nose.

She never asked about oversight or accountability mechanisms because Democrats don't care about protecting tax dollars once they're out the door.

They just want credit for the spending and the good press from photo ops.

The fundamental problem is that massive government redistribution programs always create opportunities for fraud no matter who's in charge or what safeguards exist on paper.

When politicians distribute billions of dollars through complex bureaucracies with multiple layers of state and federal administration, criminals see it as an open buffet.

The Biden administration made it worse by deliberately weakening verification requirements in the name of getting money out the door quickly.

Speed and equity mattered more than ensuring the funds actually reached the intended recipients.

Minnesota Democrats under Walz ignored whistleblowers and resisted reforms for years because they were terrified of being called racist.

State lawmakers testified that Walz and Attorney General Keith Ellison retaliated against whistleblowers who raised concerns about fraud concentrated in Minnesota's Somali community.

"They have explained that they live in a constant fear of retaliation," Minnesota State Representative Marion Rarick said during a House Oversight Committee hearing.

The larger truth remains that whenever government officials redistribute taxpayers' money through social programs, fraud risk skyrockets.

It doesn't matter if the money is supposed to go to helping child care, housing assistance, autism services, or nutrition programs.

The more layers of bureaucracy and the faster politicians want money distributed, the easier it becomes for criminals to exploit the system.

Trump is taking aggressive action to shut down the theft and hold people accountable.

But the scandal demonstrates why conservatives have been warning for decades that massive government spending programs invite corruption and waste.

Jill Biden's 2022 Minnesota visit captured that reality perfectly — Democratic politicians celebrating how much money they're spending while having no idea where it's actually going.
