Donald Trump blasts Democrats as the real threat to democracy
In an interview with Fox News host Laura Ingraham, former President Donald Trump assailed the process by which Democrat Party bosses installed Vice President Kamala Harris as the nominee even though President Joe Biden won the nomination with 14,000,000 votes in the primary.
“I’m the opposite of a threat to democracy — they’re a threat to democracy,” Trump told Ingraham.
“I mean, look at what they just did,” Trump added.
Trump said that First Lady Jill Biden didn’t want her husband to give up the Presidency without a fight.
And according to all reports, it was Jill Biden who was most dug in on Joe Biden resisting the pressure campaign former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and former President Barack Obama brought to bear on him.
“They took the Presidency away. His wife didn’t want it to happen. They took the Presidency away like he was a child,” Trump explained.
Trump said Biden was so mentally shot that there was no chance he was still running the show at the White House.
“A group of people that are fascists, communists, Marxists,” Trump said of the group in charge.
“You’re saying Biden isn’t making any of the big decisions?” Ingraham followed up.
“I don’t think so, no. I don’t think he knows he’s alive,” Trump shot back.
The bizarre circumstances that elevated Harris
Americans viewed Kamala Harris as a failed Vice President with no record of accomplishment and who even leftist comedians viewed as a joke due to her propensity for word salads.
Fox News asked voters to name any accomplishments Harris had in office and few could name one.
“I really don’t know much of what she did,”, an independent voter from New York named Bernard told Fox News.
“I’m not sure I know enough about her accomplishments to answer that question,” a Harris voter in Massachusetts named Eric admitted.
Democrats dumped Joe Biden because polls showed he couldn’t win.
But it will be difficult – and maybe impossible – for Democrats to try and hit Trump with the message that he’s a threat to democracy when the party canceled the results of their own primary election.
Harris may never have been able to win the Democrat nomination under any other circumstances other than party bosses gift-wrapping her the nomination.
At no point up until now – when the entire media, political, and cultural apparatus of the Left decided it needed to create a star – did Kamala Harris look like a winner.
That fact will surely be a sore sport with Jill Biden for the rest of her days.
