Kamala Harris Bought an $8 Million Mansion Right Where She Said Climate Change Would Destroy Everything

Kamala Harris spent years scaring Americans about rising sea levels.
Now she just proved she never believed a word of it.
And Kamala Harris bought an $8 million mansion right where she said climate change would destroy everything.
Climate Warrior Kamala Runs to the Coast
Harris and her husband Doug Emhoff dropped $8.15 million on a 4,000-square-foot mansion in Point Dume, one of Malibu's most exclusive oceanside neighborhoods.
The property sits on three-quarters of an acre with breathtaking ocean views from what real estate listings call a "prime coastal location."
Point Dume State Beach is a short walk from the front door.
That beach sits in an area the Biden-Harris administration's own climate model said would be severely damaged by sea level rise even under the most modest projections.
The Trump administration discontinued that model in June 2025.
But Harris cosponsored the Living Shorelines Act back when she was a Senator, earmarking $50 million in federal funding annually to combat sea level rise threatening "thousands of coastal communities."
Harris declared at the time the country was "facing a climate crisis" and warned officials "must take steps to mitigate against sea level rise and prepare for the extreme weather that has become increasingly common."
Weeks later, Harris shared a Washington Post article warning about rising sea levels and extreme weather.
The article specifically noted that Ventura County, where her new mansion sits, has warmed 2.6 degrees Celsius since 1895.
As Vice President, Biden made Harris the chief spokeswoman for his billion-dollar Climate-Ready Coasts initiative.
She doled out $562 million in April 2023 for 149 projects protecting coastal communities from climate change.
Harris wrote during her 2019 presidential campaign that "our oceans are warming" and "sea levels are rising."
Apparently those rising seas aren't rising fast enough to stop her from plunking down eight million bucks right next to them.
The Obama Pattern Repeats
Harris isn't breaking new ground here.
Barack Obama closed on a nearly $15 million beachfront mansion in Martha's Vineyard in 2019 that federally funded climate models projected would be underwater within 75 years.
The 29-acre property sits right on the coast Obama spent eight years warning would be devastated by climate change.
Obama told the United Nations in 2009 that "rising sea levels threaten every coastline" and warned that "on shrinking islands, families are already being forced to flee their homes as climate refugees."
But those shrinking islands weren't shrinking fast enough to stop him from buying oceanfront property.
Studies later revealed that many of the "endangered" reef islands in the Pacific and Indian oceans actually increased in land mass.
National Geographic reported in 2015 that many islands "may cope with rising seas well into the next century."
Obama even installed three massive underground propane tanks at his Martha's Vineyard mansion totaling 2,500 gallons.
Propane is a fossil fuel.
Where's She Getting the Money?
Harris's campaign ended last year $20 million in debt after burning through more than $1 billion in less than four months.
The Democratic National Committee paid more than $15 million toward Harris campaign debts just in the first six months of 2025.
Now she's buying an $8 million mansion while the DNC struggles with fundraising because donors are furious about how she wasted their money.
Harris and Emhoff already own a 3,500-square-foot home in Brentwood that Emhoff bought in 2012.
Point Dume neighbors have spotted Emhoff strolling through the neighborhood.
The area is home to Hollywood A-listers like Sean Penn, Gerard Butler, and Julia Roberts.
Silicon Valley titans like Google co-founder Sergey Brin and venture capitalist Marc Andreessen have been snatching up trophy properties there too.
Access to Little Dume beach requires a special key that only select Point Dume residents possess.
It boasts one of California's most coveted surf breaks.
While much of Malibu was devastated by the 2018 Woolsey Fire and the 2025 Palisades Fire, Point Dume escaped relatively unscathed.
Compass real estate agent Chris Cortazzo handled the sale.
Democrats Don't Believe Their Own Climate Lies
The pattern is crystal clear.
Democrat elites lecture everyone else about climate change being an "existential threat."
Then they buy multimillion-dollar mansions on the exact coastlines they claim will be underwater.
If Harris truly believed sea levels were rising and coastal communities faced devastation, she wouldn't have gambled $8 million on oceanfront property.
Neither would Obama with his $15 million Martha's Vineyard estate.
Al Gore's 10,000-square-foot Nashville mansion eats up 21 times the energy of an average American household.
His monthly utility bills hit $1,800.
These people don't practice what they preach because they know the climate crisis narrative is designed to control your behavior, not theirs.
Harris spent years pushing policies to redistribute wealth, eliminate fossil fuels, and force Americans into electric vehicles.
But when it comes to their own lifestyles, nothing less than oceanfront luxury will do.
Point Dume's large lots provide the privacy these elites crave.
The same privacy they don't want you to have when they're monitoring your carbon footprint and tracking your energy usage.
Harris can sleep soundly in her $8 million mansion knowing the seas aren't actually rising fast enough to threaten her investment.
She just needs to make sure you keep believing they are.
