Joe Biden’s presidency might be ruined by a new probe started by the State Department
Since his bungled pullout from Afghanistan, Joe Biden’s support ratings have plummeted.
He hoped that the Americans would forget about it.
Instead, the State Department has now opened a fresh inquiry into Joe Biden’s Presidency, which could jeopardize his political future.
The largest failure of Joe Biden’s Presidency has been his disastrous departure from Afghanistan, which returned the Taliban to power and killed 13 US troops while trapping vast thousands of Americans behind enemy lines.
Biden’s popularity has plummeted, with just 38% of Americans now approving of him.
The last time Biden’s approval was positive was during the days leading up to the August 31 departure from Afghanistan.
Joe Biden, of course, wants Americans to forget about his failure in Afghanistan.
And he’s done all he can to avoid the fallout from his terrible exit from the public eye.
However, the State Department’s acting Inspector General, Diana Shaw, has now brought Afghanistan back into the spotlight by beginning a series of investigations into Joe Biden’s botched pullout from Afghanistan.
As POLITICO reports:
“The State Department’s inspector general is launching a series of investigations into the end of the Biden administration’s diplomatic operations in Afghanistan.”
“The reviews by the internal watchdog will focus on the State Department’s Special Immigrant Visa program; Afghans processed for refugee admission into the U.S.; resettlement of those refugees and visa recipients; and the emergency evacuation of the U.S. Embassy in Kabul “to include evacuation of U.S. citizens and Afghan nationals.”
The Presidency of Joe Biden is already in disarray.
Illegal immigrants are pouring over the border in unprecedented numbers.
Everything from petrol to food is increasing in price.
The shelves are bare.
Furthermore, Biden’s vaccination requirement is causing a labor shortage.
That’s why the news that the State Department is initiating a series of investigations into Joe Biden’s botched exit from Afghanistan was the last thing Biden wanted.
Joe Biden is well aware that a complete probe of Afghanistan would almost certainly derail his already shattered presidency.
