Things aren’t looking good for Joe Biden.

He’s a historically unpopular incumbent facing a set of crises of his own making.

And Joe Biden saw one shocking set of polls that will have Democrats updating their resumes.

Swing state polls show Donald Trump running the table

The latest round of swing state polling from Bloomberg and Morning Consult was nothing but bad news for President Joe Biden.

Former President Donald Trump posted a clean sweep by leading him in Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.

In 2020, Trump carried only one of these states – North Carolina.

Should these poll numbers hold he would post an even bigger Electoral College victory in 2024 than he did over Hillary Clinton in 2016.

While these polls are only of swing states, Trump holding leads outside the margin of error in states like Nevada, Pennsylvania, Arizona, Georgia, and North Carolina would also suggest that it’s possible he could become the first Republican since former President George W. Bush in 2004 to win the popular vote.

Immigration concerns power Trump swing state surge

Bloomberg and Morning Consult found that a supermajority of voters in swing states blame Joe Biden and the Democrats for the open southern border and the illegal immigration crisis.

“Over 60% of respondents in Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin said Biden and the Democrats in Congress are ‘very responsible’ or ‘somewhat responsible’ for the mass influx of migrants crossing over the U.S.-Mexico border, according to a Bloomberg News/Morning Consult survey. The same poll found swing state voters blaming former President Donald Trump’s administration and congressional Republicans for the border crisis by far fewer margins,” the Daily Caller reported.

The issue of immigration keeps rising as a concern in the minds of voters.

“While the economy remains the top issue for voters across the seven battleground states, it dropped in prominence from January while immigration rose, according to the poll. The issue jumped by the largest margins in Michigan, Georgia, and Pennsylvania,” the Daily Caller also reported.

The death of Laken Riley is also causing a greater focus on Biden’s open border policies.

He abused his parole authority to set loose an illegal alien named Jose Ibarra into the country.

Police arrested Ibarra after he allegedly kidnapped Riley and murdered her while she was jogging on the University of Georgia campus.

Donald Trump and many Americans think that she would still be alive if Biden performed job number one of a President and secured the border of the United States.

The polls show that the biggest mistake Biden made was ending Trump’s border policies.

It’s a mistake that could cost him and a whole bunch of Democrats their jobs.
