Joe Biden spent his first three years in office refusing to say there was a crisis at the southern border.

But now that he’s trailing in the polls desperation is setting in.

And Joe Biden made a critical confession about the border crisis that no one ever expected.

The latest Marquette Law School University poll showed former President Donald Trump hitting his high-water mark and leading President Joe Biden with 51 percent of the vote.

The Marquette poll found that 70 percent of Americans think Biden’s policies created a border crisis.

Trump also leads him 54 to 28 percent on the issue of immigration.

It’s getting late early in this election cycle and Biden’s team is in total damage control mode.

That’s why Biden’s team is preparing an executive order for Biden to sign to coincide with the March 7 State of the Union Address where he will announce he’s invoking his authority under Section 212(f) of the Immigration and Nationality Act to restrict the entry of illegal aliens into America.

Section 212(f) “suspend the entry of all aliens or any class of aliens as immigrants or nonimmigrants” if their entry “would be detrimental to the interests of the United States.”

But this executive order looks to be a sham similar to the Senate border betrayal bill.

Like the Senate border betrayal bill, this executive order to close down illegal immigration would only go into effect after a certain number of illegal aliens crossed into the country.

In the Senate bill, that number was 5,000 illegal aliens crossing the border per day before enforcement kicked in.

“Among the ideas under discussion include using a section of the Immigration and Nationality Act to bar migrants from seeking asylum in between U.S. ports of entry. The administration is also discussing tying that directive to a trigger — meaning that it would only come into effect after a certain number of illegal crossings took place, said the three people, who were granted anonymity to discuss private deliberations,” POLITICO reported.

This move completely undercuts the false claim Biden made to pressure conservatives to accept the border betrayal bill.

Biden lied and said he had no executive authority to seal the border and that he needed Congress to pass this bill.

“I’ve done all I can do. Just give me the power I’ve asked from the very day I got into office. Give me the Border Patrol. Give me the people, the judges. Give me the people who can stop this and make it work right,” Biden told reporters at the time.

Biden really wanted to pass the Senate bill because it wrote into law the ability for him to smuggle nearly two million illegal aliens into America each year.

And he still isn’t even exhausting his executive authority.

Biden could still reinstate Donald Trump’s Remain in Mexico Protocols and restart border wall construction.

The fact that Biden won’t take those two basic steps shows this executive order is all for show and will allow him to keep the border open while trying to gaslight Americans into thinking he took action.
