Joe Biden just uttered eight words that ensure he will never be President
For decades, it has been Joe Biden’s goal to become President of the United States.
He has never been closer than he is now, but he continues to screw things up every time he opens his mouth.
And Biden just uttered eight words that ensures he will never be President.
Joe Biden’s campaign for President is largely based on him being much more moderate than some of the other far-left candidates like Bernie Sanders.
His record certainly shows that, as he served in the Senate for decades with a voting record much less extreme than the current Democrat Party.
But in order to compete in the field of candidates, he has been shifting steadily farther Left.
He recently reversed on his previous support for the Hyde Amendment, which prevents taxpayer funding from paying for abortions.
And now he is going off the deep end, telling Vice News that he doesn’t believe that anybody should be arrested for drunk driving, and that if an ICE agent arrests a drunk driving illegal immigrant, the ICE agent should be fired.
“They go off to school wondering whether their mom comes and picks them up [or] if she’s not going to be there because an ICE agent was there to arrest her,” Biden began his anti-ICE attack.
“You change the culture by saying you are going to get fired. You are fired if, in fact, you do that. You only arrest for the purpose of dealing with a felony that’s committed,” he added.
Biden then went on to add to his point, declaring that “I don’t count drunk driving as a felony.”
He’s right about drunk driving not being a felony in most cases, at least for first offenders.
But there are many cases where people are arrested for non-felony offenses, and the idea of not arresting somebody operated a vehicle while intoxicated is insane.
Former acting ICE Director Tom Homan responded to his statement on Fox News, stating that he thought Biden “lost his mind.”
“If he doesn’t like what ICE is doing then he can change the law, but you cannot fire a law enforcement officer who’s enforcing the law that he took an oath to enforce, a law that was enacted by Congress. It is a ridiculous statement,” Homan added.
