Joe Biden just announced one big change that is about to have all hell breaking loose
Joe Biden’s slipping poll numbers are causing a sense of desperation in the White House.
That’s leading to massive changes.
And Joe Biden just announced one big change that is about to have all hell breaking loose.
At a press conference following a NATO summit, Joe Biden attacked the foundations of American democracy and threatened to impose autocracy on the nation.
A reporter asked Biden about the recent Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health decision, which struck down Roe v. Wade and advanced the cause of democracy by returning the question of abortion to the states.
Biden flew off the handle and announced he now supported eliminating the legislative filibuster so Democrats could impose nationwide abortion-on-
demand up until the moment of birth.
“The first and foremost thing we should do is make it clear how outrageous this decision was and how much it impacts not just on a women’s right to choose, which is a critical, critical piece, but on privacy generally,” Biden began. “But the most important thing, to be clear about it, I believe we have to codify Roe v. Wade in the law and the way to do that is to make sure Congress votes to do that.”
“And if the filibuster gets in the way, like voting rights, we provide an exception for this, we require an exception to the filibuster for this action to deal with the Supreme Court decision,” Biden continued.
There is no such thing as a “carveout” on the filibuster for so-called “voting rights” – which is really a power grab by Democrats to rig elections – and abortion.
If Democrats nuke the filibuster for abortion, Republicans will “carveout” an exception to the filibuster to ban transgender surgeries for minor children, pass a national right to work law, or another conservative cause.
As control of government changes hands, each side will support further carve outs to the filibuster until it no longer exists.
Finally, Joe Biden then gave aid and comfort to autocrats around the world by undermining the credibility of American institutions, suggesting that the United States of America’s experiment in self-government was failing because the Supreme Court overturned one of the pillars of the Left’s ideology.
“The one thing that has been destabilizing is the outrageous behavior of the Supreme Court of the United States, in overruling not only Roe v Wade, but essentially challenging the right to privacy. We’ve been a leader in the world in terms of personal rights and privacy rights, and it is a mistake, in my view, for the Supreme Court to do what it did,” Biden concluded.
