Joe Biden just admitted a major defeat that will have Republicans grinning from ear to ear

Joe Biden’s Presidency suffers setbacks on a daily basis.
The latest loss came on one of Biden’s core campaign promises.
And Joe Biden just admitted a major defeat that will have Republicans grinning from ear to ear.
Joe Biden announced he withdrew the nomination of anti-gun fanatic David Chipman to head the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Explosive and Firearms.
Chipman expected to play a major role in the Biden administration’s schemes to ban and confiscate firearms.
Biden withdrew Chipman’s nomination after a number of Democrats said they could not support Chipman following revelations that Chipman allegedly made racist remarks about fellow black ATF agents.
In one case, an ATF agent told gun policy site The Reload that Chipman derided black agents on a promotion list claiming they were not qualified and insinuating they were only up for promotion because of their race.
“I couldn’t believe it when it happened,” the agent told The Reload. “But when I read about his other comments, in my mind, I was like ‘that motherf*****.’ That’s what happened. He said, ‘Hey, a lot of African Americans qualified to be promoted on this certification list; they must have been cheating.’ And then he had to go and find one. I happened to be that one.”
Two other agents confirmed the story to The Reload.
“He made some comments that he was surprised by the number of African Americans who have made it onto a specific promotional list,” a current ATF official said in an interview with The Reload. “So, his insinuation was that they had to have cheated. Which is kind of despicable.”
“That one had to do with what’s called the assessment center, which would be to get promoted,’an agent recounted. “Somebody would have had to file a complaint against him if he were a supervisor making those statements.”
Pulling Chipman’s nomination is a crushing loss for Joe Biden’s anti-gun agenda.
Biden intended Chipman to use his perch running the ATF to turn gun owners into felons by issuing a host of new rules cracking down on firearms, ammunition and accessories.
But that agenda hit a major roadblock that could likely not be overcome if the GOP reclaims the majority in 2022.
With the writing on the wall that standing by Chipman’s nomination could throw even more doubt on Democrats’ ability to retain their congressional majorities after the midterm elections, Chipman got the axe.
Nevertheless, Americans’ Second Amendment rights remain under assault and possibly even more so if the GOP lets down its guard and agrees to stealthily confirm Biden’s next gun grabber to head the ATF.
