Joe Biden is frantic after he received one devastating report that he never expected
Joe Biden is up to his ears in problems.
But one major failure is going to cost him big time.
And Joe Biden is frantic after he received one devastating report that he never expected.
President Joe Biden’s border crisis is creating an unprecedented human catastrophe for the country.
Mexican drug cartels are capitalizing on the wide-open southern border to flood the country with the deadly synthetic opioid fentanyl.
Drug overdose deaths are skyrocketing under Biden, topping more than 100,000 per year.
As the crisis spirals out of control, fentanyl has become the leading cause of death for Americans aged 18-45.
The Border Patrol reported that fentanyl seizures are up an astounding 200% in July from the previous month, with untold amounts slipping into the country undetected.
But Donald Trump’s former acting administrator of the Drug Enforcement Agency, Uttam Dhillon, expects the fentanyl crisis will only get worse in the future.
“Even seeing just one lab in Mexico pressing pills was something unique that we were seeing. And this was only a few years ago,” Dhillon said.
“Now we’re seeing literally a million pills being seized in Los Angeles, for example, just a few months ago,” Dhillon continued. “So the growth has been massive.”
Fentanyl is manufactured with precursor chemicals purchased in China before being smuggled across the border.
Under Joe Biden, the Chinese communist government has cut back cooperation with stopping the flow of chemicals used to make fentanyl.
“All they need are the precursor chemicals,” Dhillon said. “Once they have those chemicals, they can manufacture them on an industrial scale.”
Using cheap chemicals to manufacture the drug, the Mexican cartels are making billions of dollars because of the border crisis.
“If production costs a few hundred dollars, the sales in the United States will generate hundreds of thousands of dollars or potentially even more, depending how it is cut,” Dr. Vanda Felbab-Brown of the Brookings Institute said. “The profitability is also higher because the means of smuggling and transportation are greater, and the ease of evading law enforcement is great.”
According to one former DEA agent, the massive increase in fentanyl production is leading Mexican drug cartels to resemble “Fortune 500” companies.
“The Mexican cartels run a global enterprise. They run it like a Fortune 500 company right now,” former DEA special agent Derek Maltz told Fox News.” “They implemented a strategic, deceptive marketing plan to drive addiction and to drive profits.”
“The individual leaders of these cartels are ruthless, greedy, and sophisticated. These cartels take in billions of dollars a year, and the leaders profit from it every single day,” Dhillon said. “They are very adept at avoiding U.S. prosecution and Mexican law enforcement.”
With Mexican drug cartels ramping up fentanyl production, the opioid crisis will continue to be a problem for Joe Biden.
