Joe Biden got up on the debate stage and told one lie that left his campaign scrambling
The first Presidential debate was a train wreck thanks to the biased moderating of Chris Wallace.
But Wallace could not save Joe Biden from all his mistakes.
And Joe Biden got up on the debate stage and told one lie that left his campaign scrambling.
At one point in the debate, President Trump ripped Joe Biden for supporting the $93 trillion Green New Deal scheme championed by Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Joe Biden.
“The Green New Deal is not my plan,” Biden responded.
Moderator Chris Wallace read off a list of proposals Biden put forth that sounded an awfully lot like the Green New Deal.
“No, I don’t support the Green New Deal,” Biden responded.
But Biden lied.
Biden’s own campaign website lists the Green New Deal as a “crucial framework.”
“Biden believes the Green New Deal is a crucial framework for meeting the climate challenges we face. It powerfully captures two basic truths, which are at the core of his plan: (1) the United States urgently needs to embrace greater ambition on an epic scale to meet the scope of this challenge, and (2) our environment and our economy are completely and totally connected,” the page says.
Far from opposing the Green New Deal, Biden actively lauds this Marxist scheme that will ban fossil fuel cars, limit airplanes and meat consumption, while at the same time retrofitting every building in America with new so-called “sustainable” technology.
Biden’s running mate Kamala Harris is also a cosponsor of the Green New Deal.
Chris Wallace let Biden get away with lying about the Green New Deal like he let Biden get away with numerous other falsehoods and violations of the debate rules.
