Joe Biden broke a major promise that is bad news for Democrats

Joe Biden is the most unpopular President in polling history.

Now Biden is about to commit his biggest mistake.

And Joe Biden broke a major promise that is bad news for Democrats.

Joe Biden and Senate Democrats are attempting to ram a massive tax-and-spend bill through Congress.

The bill includes hundreds of billions of dollars in new tax increases and socialist Green New Deal programs.

When announcing his support for the bill, Biden falsely claimed it kept a core campaign promise of not raising taxes on anyone making less than $400,000 per year.

“This bill will not raise taxes on anyone making less than $400,000 a year,” Biden stated. “And I promise — a promise I made during the campaign and one which I — that I’ve kept.”

Biden’s claim was easily disproved.

The nonpartisan Joint Committee on taxation found the vast majority of Americans making over $30,000 a year would see a tax increase.

“In 2023, the year in which the legislation would increase tax revenue most, individuals making less than $10,000 per year would pay 3.1% more in taxes and those making between $20,000-30,000 per year would see a 1.1% tax increase, the JCT analysis showed. Tax revenue collected from those making $100,000 per year or less would increase by $5.8 billion in 2023 under the Inflation Reduction Act,” Fox News reported.

Republicans slammed Biden for lying to the American people.

“The more this bill is analyzed by impartial experts, the more we can see Democrats are trying to sell the American people a bill of goods,” Idaho Senator Mike Crapo stated. “Nonpartisan analysts are confirming this bill raises taxes on the middle class and produces no meaningful deficit reduction when gimmicks are removed and the full cost is accounted for.”

America’s economy slipped into a recession after experiencing two consecutive quarters of declining Gross Domestic Product.

Imposing hundreds of billions of dollars in new tax increases on the American people is a recipe for inflicting a longer and more painful recession on the country.
