James Comer announced Tim Walz was under investigation for this sick crime
Tim Walz hasn’t just proven to be a disaster on the campaign trail.
He may be hiding a dark secret.
And James Comer announced Tim Walz was under investigation for this sick crime.
House Oversight Committee subpoenas DHS over Walz records regarding Communist China
House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) dropped a bombshell about Minnesota Governor Tim Walz.
Walz’s affinity for Communist China always stuck out like a sore thumb.
The Governor claimed to have taken more than 30 trips to communist China – a number he later revised downwards – and even scheduled his wedding for the fifth anniversary of the Tiananmen Square massacre with his wife, Gwen, claiming he would “have a date he’ll always remember.”
Walz also praised China’s communist economy.
“It means that everyone is the same and everyone shares,” Walz said in a 1991 article for Nebraska’s Alliance Times-Herald. “The doctor and the construction worker make the same. The Chinese government and the place they work for provide housing and 14 kg or about 30 pounds of rice per month. They get food and housing.”
But Comer now has evidence Walz’s love for China goes beyond the American Left’s usual sympathy for communists.
He has reason to believe Walz may be a national security threat.
In a letter to Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, Comer announced the committee subpoenaed records relating to Walz and communist China after a whistleblower revealed a group chat among DHS employees that raised red flags about the Minnesota Governor.
“Specifically, through whistleblower disclosures, the Committee has learned of a non-classified, Microsoft Teams group chat among DHS employees — titled ‘NST NFT Bi-Weekly Sync’ — that contains information about Governor Walz that is relevant to the Committee’s investigation,” Comer wrote.
“The Committee has also learned that further relevant information regarding Governor Walz has been memorialized in both classified and unclassified documents in the control of DHS,” Comer added.
Walz’s national security risk
Walz made a dozen trips to Communist China between 1989 and 2005 when he was a member of the Army National Guard.
A military member who travels abroad is required to file a report upon returning to the United States outlining any suspicious interactions.
Former Trump administration National Security Council senior director Brian J. Cavanaugh told the New York Post that if Walz didn’t file these reports “the risks of him jeopardizing national security are very real, especially given his tenor and tone towards his time in China.”
Comer alluded to this concern in his letter to Mayorkas.
“[I]f a state governor and major political party’s nominee for Vice President of the United States has been a witting or unwitting participant in the CCP’s [Communist Chinese Party] efforts to weaken our nation, this would strongly suggest that there are alarming weaknesses in the federal government’s effort to defend the United States from the CCP’s political warfare that must be urgently addressed,” Comer continued.
Communist China allegedly compromised President Joe Biden through millions of dollars in payments to his son, Hunter Biden.
Comer is sounding the alarm that communist China may have compromised a second straight Democrat Party Presidential ticket.
