Ilhan Omar was asked one question that left her stunned into silence

Ilhan Omar is one of the most outspoken and controversial members of Congress.

But she finally met her match.

And Ilhan Omar was asked one question that stunned her into silence.

Ilhan Omar seized on the tragic shooting in Virginia Beach where a disgruntled government employee killed 12 innocent victims.

Omar used the occasion to blame the shooting on gun owners and the National Rifle Association.

NRA spokeswoman Dana Loesch tweeted back at Omar and asked the Congresswoman if the gunman bore any blame for the killing.

“This was a heinous tragedy. Your remarks move me to ask: What do 5 million members of the NRA have to do with this man’s crime? Was this man a card-carrying member? His purchases were legal, whose fault is that? Does he bear any blame at all? Serious questions,” Loesch wrote.

The simple truth of the matter is gun-grabbers love mass shootings.

It allows them to go on the offense and smear gun owners to push for new gun control.

They can politicize the dead bodies to claim Republicans are heartless and that banning guns is the only solution to the problem.

That’s why in her tweet Omar bypassed even assigning a shed of blame to the shooter and trained her fire on gun owners.

But when you cut through the hysteria, you arrive at the same questions Loesch was asking.

And the answer you come up with is simple: gun control does not stop mass shootings.
