Ilhan Omar might have to resign after crossing a line so unimaginable her party can’t defend it
Muslim Rep. Ilhan Omar is constantly finding herself in trouble.
She can’t help but make insane comments that cross the line.
But nobody thought she would cross this line, and now she might have to resign because her party won’t be able to defend her.
There is nothing in modern history more horrifying than the Holocaust.
Adolf Hitler sent over 6 million Jews to their deaths in a hateful genocide that to this day horrifies anybody with a soul.
But many continue to deny the Holocaust, or even justify it.
Rep. Rashida Tlaib recently stated that she gets a “calming feeling” when she thinks about the Holocaust.
Then to make matters worse, her pal and fellow Congresswoman Ilhan Omar just praised a news outlet that denied the Holocaust just days ago.
The AJ+ television network – part of Al Jazeera – questioned the genocide, and argued that Zionists benefited from it more than anybody.
While they are under fire for it, Ilhan Omar re-Tweeted a post putting a heart next to AJ+, implying that she loves the Holocaust-denying network.
The Daily Caller reports:
Two days after the AJ+ television network published a video questioning the Holocaust, Minnesota Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar repeatedly gave the network a boost.
On May 18, AJ+ Arabic posted a seven-minute video to social media with the caption “The gas chambers killed millions of Jews … So the story says. How true is the #Holocaust and how did the Zionists benefit from it?” The Jews “exploited the Holocaust for their agenda and made the whole world focus on their murders and forget the other victims.”
“People are divided between those who deny the annihilation, others who think that the outcome was exaggerated, and others yet who accuse the Zionist movement of blowing it out of proportion,” it said.
On May 20, Omar — who has repeatedly been accused of anti-Semitism — retweeted someone saying “<3 @ajplus.”
Ironically, shortly after this post, Omar shared another article from AJ+, and stated “we have a duty to confront hate and bigotry whenever we see it.”
She clearly isn’t taking her own advice if she not only isn’t calling out Holocaust denial, but she then also praises those who deny the Holocaust.
This is far from the first thing that Omar has done earning her the anti-Semitic reputation.
In fact, she took things so far recently that former Ku Klux Klan leader David Duke called her “the most important member of Congress.”
