Hillary Clinton’s sex scandal cover up is even worse than you think
Hillary Clinton and sex scandals are never far apart.
And each time, the news is nothing but bad.
That’s because Hillary Clinton’s sex scandal cover-up is even worse than you think.
In investigative journalist Ronan Farro’s new book, “Catch and Kill,” farrow describes the backstory behind his ground-breaking 2017 reporting on Harvey Weinstein’s alleged sexual misconduct.
Farrow revealed that in 2017, Harvey Weinstein used his connection to Hillary Clinton to try to pressure Farrow into dropping his reporting.
The Hollywood Reporter wrote:
Weinstein also attempted to leverage his long-term relationship with Hillary Clinton to pressure Farrow, he writes. In summer 2017, while Farrow was trying to lock down an interview with Clinton for his foreign policy book — while also still working on the Weinstein story — he received a call from Clinton’s publicist, Nick Merrill, who told him that the “big story” Farrow was working on was a “concern for us.” Then, in September 2017, according to an email cited in the book, Weinstein wrote to Deborah Turness, the ex-president of NBC News who now runs NBC News International, to propose a docuseries on Clinton. “Your Hillary doc series sounds absolutely stunning,” Turness responded.
Harvey Weinstein was — of course — a massive Bill Clinton supporter and donor.
And helping out Harvey Weinstein would not be the first time Hillary helped a powerful man cover up allegations of sexual misconduct.
In the past, Hillary Clinton played a major role in attacking the character of the women who came forward to accuse Bill Clinton of rape, sexual assault, and sexual harassment.
Clinton’s involvement in smearing women who came forward to credibly accuse Bill Clinton of sexual misconduct was one of the reasons key voting blocs turned away from her in the 2016 election.
And given the revelations in Farrow’s book, it is clear Clinton feels no need to change her ways.
