Franklin Graham went on Fox News and shut down this ugly rumor about Donald Trump
The fake news media spent the week of Christmas trying to drive a wedge between Donald Trump and his base.
And there is one giant target of this disinformation campaign.
But that ended when Franklin Graham went on Fox News and shut down this ugly rumor about Donald Trump.
The fake news media celebrated an op-ed in the little-read Christianity Today magazine calling Donald Trump morally unfit to be President and that he should be removed from office either by impeachment or defeat at the ballot box.
So-called “journalists” promoted this op-ed as a “reckoning” for Christians and claimed that the only way they could live consistently with their faith was to abandon the President.
Franklin Graham – son of “America’s Pastor” and founder of Christianity Today Bill Graham- went on Fox News and attacked the magazine for joining the Democrats in a political crusade to remove Donald Trump from office.
Tuesday, during an appearance on Fox News Channel’s “Fox & Friends First,” Samaritan’s Purse President Rev. Franklin Graham offered his view on Christianity Today’s editorial supporting impeachment and proclaiming President Donald Trump unfit for the presidency.
Graham, whose father Billy Graham founded the magazine 60 years ago, dismissed the editorial as one from a left-leaning magazine that would have disappointed his late father.
“This magazine — this left-leaning magazine, my father did start 60 years ago but is so far removed now from what my father founded the magazine to be,” Graham said. “And for them to say the president should be removed when he has done more for Christians and evangelicals than any president in my lifetime, I just find it to be crazy. The man’s just lost his mind.”
“[F]or Christianity Today to suggest that he should step down, why?” he continued. “What he’s done so much for our country, just because this is what Nancy Pelosi and a few people on the left want,” he continued. “And this magazine is following in step with the leftist agenda. My father would be very disappointed. My father actually had nothing really to do with this magazine for the last 25, 30 years.”
Graham noted all the President has done for Evangelicals in terms of appointing pro-Life judges and defending religious liberty as evidence any talk that Christians should abandon the President as insane.
If Christianity Today had its way, a secular socialist Democrat would be in the White House and enact an agenda of abortion on demand and persecuting Christians by forcing them to abandon their beliefs by passing the Gay Bill of Special Rights which would force churches and other religious organizations to hire homosexuals and transsexuals.
Donald Trump made it clear he intended to support religious liberty and defend Christians from an increasingly secular and hostile culture.
And that’s why around 80 percent of white Evangelical Christians continue to support him.
