Fox News just threw cold water on Joe Biden’s victory lap and left Democrats in ruins

Joe Biden is desperately trying to save both his failing Presidency and Democrats’ chances in the Midterm elections.

But it failed miserably.

And Fox News just threw cold water on Joe Biden’s victory lap and left Democrats in ruins.

Joe Biden announced that the U.S. military killed Al Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahiri in a drone strike as he lounged around an apartment in Kabul, Afghanistan.

Biden tried to play this up as his administration’s greatest success.

In reality, it represented Joe Biden’s biggest foreign policy failure.

Fox and Friends co-host Brian Kilmeade pointed out how the fact that the leader of Al Qaeda felt free to walk around Afghanistan’s largest city only showed just how badly Joe Biden blundered the withdrawal from Afghanistan last summer.

“Listen, give Joe Biden credit,” Kilmeade stated. “He green-lighted this hit. It took him four months, but he green-lighted this hit, and they executed. Give the CIA credit, and the President, in this case, says over the horizon it was effective. I’ve got it.”

“But in that case, if you just send one or two drones, one drone and 2 hellfire missiles and you get one guy, there’s no rational belief to think that he’s the only al-Qaeda there. Where are the other lieutenants, where are they located, and how could you possibly say we are safer without any troops on the ground?” Kilmeade added.

Donald Trump Jr. made a similar point on Twitter as to how Joe Biden can say America is safer with Al Qaeda given free run of Afghanistan by the Taliban.

Even CNN’s left-wing news reader, Brianne Keilar, pressed Pentagon spokesman John Kirby on the fact that one of the world’s top terrorists felt no fear of walking the streets of a city.

“What does it say about the future of U.S. counterterrorism efforts in Afghanistan that one of the most wanted terrorists in the world is comfortable on a balcony in downtown Kabul?” Keilar asked Kirby.

Joe Biden’s botched withdrawal from Afghanistan continues to cost America.

And there is no way to spin it as a success.
