Elon Musk made a prediction that is extremely bad news for Joe Biden

Joe Biden and the Democrats do not want to hear this.

But the Left is in for rough days.

And Elon Musk made a prediction that is extremely bad news for Joe Biden.

Economic growth in the first quarter slowed to a worse than expected negative 1.5 percent.

Inflation is running at its hottest levels in 40 years.

New housing sales slowed to the lowest point in 17 years.

Those dismal economic numbers led to growing fears of a recession.

One Twitter user asked Tesla CEO Elon Musk if a recession was imminent.

Musk predicted a nasty recession is on the way, explaining that the government showered trillions of dollars in so-called “COVID relief” on businesses and that the lockdowns caused Americans to think they didn’t need to work hard to succeed.

“Yes, but this is actually a good thing. It has been raining money on fools for too long. Some bankruptcies need to happen. Also, all the Covid stay-at-home stuff has tricked people into thinking that you don’t actually need to work hard. Rude awakening inbound!” Musk wrote.

Musk added that he expected a nasty recession that lasted up to a year-and-half.

“Based on past experience, about 12 to 18 months,” Musk predicted. “Companies that are inherently negative cash flow (ie value destroyers) need to die, so that they stop consuming resources.”

Blackrock – one of the world’s largest asset managers – forecast that the secretive Federal Reserve continually raising interest rates to combat the runway inflation caused by Joe Biden’s socialist spending would throw the economy into a recession.

“The Fed’s hawkish pivot has raised the risk that markets see rates staying in restrictive territory,” BlackRock predicted. “The year-to-date selloff partly reflects this, yet we see no clear catalyst for a rebound. If they hike interest rates too much, they risk triggering a recession. If they do not tighten enough, the risk becomes runaway inflation. It’s tough to see a perfect outcome.”

A recession lasting 18 months would take America up to 2024 and the start of the Presidential election cycle.

That would spell doom for Joe Biden and the Democrats.

No President running for re-election into the teeth of a recession could survive, as Jimmy Carter and George H.W. Bush can attest to.

Joe Biden may not even choose to run for re-election under those circumstances.
