Elizabeth Warren just called out Nancy Pelosi for this corrupt deal

There is dissension in the ranks on the Left.

This new civil war could not come at a worse time for Democrats.

And now Elizabeth Warren just called out Nancy Pelosi for this corrupt deal.

Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren is the latest high-profile Democrat to sound a warning about the Party’s chances in the Midterm elections.

All the polls show a Red wave ready to sweep Republicans into the majority in the House of Representatives and potentially the U.S. Senate.

In a New York Times op-ed, Warren criticized Democrat leaders like Pelosi for not taking aggressive action to pass larger portions of Joe Biden’s radical agenda.

“To put it bluntly: if we fail to use the months remaining before the elections to deliver on more of our agenda, Democrats are headed toward big losses in the midterms,” Warren wrote, arguing Democrats needed to “show we understand the painful economic realities facing American families.”

Warren said one area Democrats needed to pass legislation on was banning members of Congress from trading stocks.

“To tackle the urgent challenges we face — climate change, income inequality, systemic injustice — we must root out corruption. To start cleaning up the government, members of Congress and their spouses shouldn’t be allowed to own or trade individual stocks,” Warren continued.

But then Warren detoured into an explicit call out of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

“Whether you’re a Republican Senator or the Democratic Speaker of the House, it is obvious to the American people that they should not be allowed to trade individual stocks and then vote on laws that affect those companies,” Warren stated. “I have the strongest plan and the only bipartisan bill in the Senate to get it done.”

Warren putting the “Democratic Speaker of the House” on blast in her op-ed is a call back to comments Pelosi made at a press conference defending the right of individual members of Congress to trade stocks.

“We are a free-market economy. They should be able to participate in that,” Pelosi declared.

It is not often that an elected official criticizes the Speaker of the House from their own Party so publicly like Elizabeth Warren did.

But election forecasters believe it is a nearly foregone conclusion that Democrats will lose control of the House this November.

And Warren is already trying to lay blame for Democrats losing the election this fall on Pelosi – who is not expected to be back in Congress next year – for the upcoming debacle.
