Dr. Fauci made one claim on TV that Donald Trump won’t want to hear

Donald Trump and his administration are trying to reopen the American economy.

But he is running into resistance from health “experts.”

And Dr. Fauci made one claim on TV that Donald Trump won’t want to hear.

The President’s social distancing guidelines expire on April 30.

22 million Americans lost their jobs the last four weeks as Governors across the country shutdown their state economies.

President Trump and millions of Americans would like to see Governors rescind their draconian lockdown orders and begin to allow Americans to slowly return to work.

But Dr. Anthony Fauci continues to throw coldwater on that idea saying reopening the economy risks a second wave of coronavirus infections.

Appearing on ABC’s Good Morning America Dr. Fauci claimed reopening the economy could “backfire.”

“I think the message is, clearly, this is something that is hurting from the standpoint of economics and the standpoint of things that have nothing to do with the virus, but unless we get the virus under control, the real recovery economically is not going to happen. So what you do if you jump the gun and go into a situation where you have a big spike, you’re going to set yourself back. So as painful as it is to go by the careful guidelines of gradually phasing into a reopening, it’s going to backfire. That’s the problem,” Dr. Fauci stated.

Health experts advocating for these shutdowns are not taking into account the economic devastation they are inflicting upon the country.

Entire industries are at risk of going under and ruining the livelihoods of millions of Americans.

America cannot keep the economy closed until there are no new cases of coronavirus or the government can test 10 million Americans per day.

That’s why so many Americans were pleased to hear the news that Governors in states like Ohio, Texas, Alabama, Mississippi, Idaho and others were ready to begin reopening their economies on May 1.

It’s about time to be rid of Fauci…..soon Birx needs to go as well. They work for the wrong party!! You can tell who the Democrats are on these comments!!!!! It’s all about the almighty dollar!!!!

It’s time to open our businesses. If you feel afraid you can stay inside. America was built on risk. One reason the world community envies us. No other country has lent a hand around the world as much. This is what we do. America faces fear! We spent 2 months plus listening to the professionals like Dr. Fauci. Did everything asked of us. Now we’re being told it’s coming again. Really? Based on what? Americans aren’t cowards. I’m ready to get back to living my life and take my chances. Economic collapse is not an option!!

Dr. Fauci is a Democrat who probably has a terminal case of TDS. Enough said. It is my opinion that he would do anything to hurt President Trump.

  4. Jessie Cornejo says:

If you are all as smart as Trump you have nothing to worry about and open all of your businesses and be happy for a week or two and when you all start with the symptoms don’t start complaining and perhaps Trump can tell you how to get well. Don’t ask the Doctor that told you not to reopen beings you all were so smart and bad mouthing him. You will have no one to blame, but yourselves. Good luck to you all !!!!

This doctor is not to be trusted..my spirit began to recoil about two weeks after listening to his “expertise”. No doubt he’s well educated but he is definitely not providing good advice. Some of his close associates should give pause for concern for any patriot of our nation. His so called medical advice will lead us into a deep depression…ask someone that understands the economy. For any person who is truly interested in America and it’s survival…please get your information from another source than Dr. Fauci. Be cautious of Dr. Birx also as she is a protege of Fauci.

  6. Fauci is TOTALLY out of touch with the reality of the situation from an economic standpoint. He just wants to cover his ass 10 ways to Sunday by keeping the country closed. Meanwhile Americans are going broke, losing their homes, can’t pay their monthly bills AND may not have a job after this midget finally sees the light !! The guidelines have been set down since day one.!! Now this crazy Fauci and all the other “experts” keep throwing new THEORIES out there to keep the people in a panic !!!

Stopped believing Dr. Fauci when he wanted “immunity cards” issued to people. Then if you have an immunity card, you can move around the country and world freely. If you don’t have one, then no. And in order for these to work, you’d have to have checkpoints to go thru to be checked for the card. Where would checkpoints be? Statelines? County lines? Cities? We visited Croatia 2 yrs. ago-you were checked at various checkpoints throughout the country. Once implemented-do you think you’d get the right to travel freely in the U.S. ever again?

I want the economy re-opened, however I want it done under complete control and in a very staged manner. We can’t continue total lockdown or sooner rather than later, we are going to start running out of all different kinds of foods and that will bring people to rioting in the streets. Again, my hope is that we re-open the economy, but in an intelligent very controlled manner. Figure it out Donald and Dr. Fauci.

Yes we need to reopen, only when it is safe to do. Our President has many decisions to examine, to contiplate. A Very, Very Ruff choose to be made. To fast, will be signing a death note. I along with many of our Citizens believe in you.You have proven you can run our Country, you have secured our Nation and already made your Legacy… let’s not rush…

You are comparing 100 years ago to today? Gee- do you suppose they had sanitizers back then? I will take natural immunities, especially for the kids. If you are feeling sick, you stay home. What is different about that than strep, regular flu, and any other virus or sickness you have.

  13. Sharon says:

Wonder if people will feel the same about keeping the country shut down when the food supply is depleted? You think toilet paper is a problem. What are you going to feed your hungry kids and the food pantries don’t have food to hand out. Already seeing the chicken and pork supply down in stores. Vegetables being plowed into the ground and if no ones working to can vegetables in the canning companies-good luck with that.

  14. Dr. J.D. says:

FluffyPillow Five must sleep with his face covered and not allowing for oxygen. Sure we have heard of “herd immunity” – – – but to get to that point do you realize how many millions would have DIED!?!? What will resolve this, outside of millions of people DYING, is a vaccine, and one will probably be ready for the public within a year. So, the key here is taking smart, intelligent steps until the vaccine is developed. We already know how to do this, and that is gradual opening up under proper conditions, and those are clearly outlined by the World Health Organization. Trump, rather than listening to medical experts (all, not just Dr. Fauci), is wanting to open up the economy without meeting those conditions.

When Denver backed off social distancing in the 1918 pandemic, the results were deadly
It was 1918 and Denver Mayor William Fitz Randolph Mills bowed to business leaders and decided to back off social distancing. The city had been all but locked down for five weeks. Grateful citizens streamed into the streets of the city on November 11, 1918, soon after Denver’s Manager of Health William H. Sharpley declared the “plague under control!”
Instead of being at the end of the influenza’s toll on Denver, the city was only halfway through its ordeal. By backing off social distancing too early, they utterly failed to flatten the curve, and suffered a second bump. By November 22, deaths were spiking and Denver officials scrambled to reinstate bans on public and private gatherings and requiring masks for all commerce.
