Donald Trump will be furious when he sees how Fox News tried to sabotage his campaign

Donald Trump is running for re-election.

But this time the entire corporate-controlled media is united against him.

And Donald Trump will be furious when he sees how Fox News tried to sabotage his campaign.

Donald Trump announced his 2024 re-election campaign during a primetime speech delivered from his Mar-a-Lago estate.

In 2016, Donald Trump was a media phenomenon and the cable news networks carried his rally speeches from start to finish.

When Trump announced his 2024 campaign, the cable news networks did their best to bury it.
MSNBC didn’t air the speech at all.

CNN cut away after Trump announced his candidacy.

And Fox News did not stay with the speech much longer before cutting away.

POLITICO reports:

The three major cable news networks — CNN, Fox News and MSNBC — to different extents each limited their airtime of former President Donald Trump’s speech Tuesday evening, in which he announced a 2024 presidential campaign.

MSNBC didn’t air the primetime speech at all, while Fox and CNN cut away from the more-than-hour-long address after Trump verbally announced his candidacy. Fox cut away about 15 minutes later than CNN, and switched back to Trump for an additional few minutes after showing commentary from guests.

Rupert Murdoch owns Fox News.

Rupert Murdoch also owns the New York Post.

And Murdoch made it clear that Fox News and the Post will oppose Trump’s campaign.

In addition to Fox not airing Trump’s speech in full, the New York Post relegated Trump’s announcement to a trollish “Florida Man Makes Announcement” headline at the bottom of the front page.

Murdoch’s Post then stuck the knife in deeper by burying the account of Trump’s re-election on the inside of the paper in a brief story with a “staff” byline.

If Donald Trump is to win the Presidency in 2024, he will have to defeat the Democrats and the Rupert Murdoch media empire – and that includes Fox News.
