Donald Trump was credited with one big victory that no one saw coming
The outcome of the Presidential election is still up in the air.
Democrats in key states are still counting votes and refusing to acknowledge Donald Trump’s win in North Carolina.
But now Donald Trump was credited with one big victory that no one saw coming.
All the so-called “experts” forecast that Tuesday night would be a big night for Senate Democrats.
Forecasters claimed Donald Trump alienating suburban women and minorities would doom the GOP to defeat.
Democrats were heavily favored to flip Republican seats in Maine, Arizona, and Colorado while party leaders thought the races in North Carolina and Iowa leaned in their direction.
Because a tsunami of fundraising – some Senate candidates raised an unheard $100,000,000 – Democrats believed states like Kansas, Alaska, South Carolina, Montana, and even Texas were within their grasp.
The only question was over the size of Chuck Schumer’s newly empowered Democrat Majority.
But on election night, Democrats crashed and burned and only netted one seat, appearing to leave Republicans with 50 Senate seats as two races in Georgia headed to a runoff.
But no matter what happened in those races, Democrats could not win an outright Senate majority.
South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham credited President Trump for inspiring the massive turnout that led to Republicans winning all the races that were considered tossups.
“I’m here tonight to stand with President Trump. He stood with me. He’s the reason we’re going to have a Senate majority. My race was overwhelming. He helped Senate Republicans. We’re going to pick up House seats. Because of the campaign that President Trump won.”
Donald Trump grew the Republican Party.
The President attracted a greater number of black, Hispanic, Asian, homosexual and Muslim voters when he ran in 2020 despite a four year-long media smear campaign falsely claiming he was a racist.
Republicans gained seats in the House and hung on in the Senate when all the “experts” were predicting doom.
And the GOP has Donald Trump to thank for that.
