Donald Trump told this truth about the coronavirus that no one was prepared for
Federal and state government officials slammed down the pause button on American life with extreme social distancing measures and shutdowns of bars, restaurants, gyms, and sporting events.
Americans are wondering how long this new reality will last.
That answer became clearer when Donald Trump told this truth about the coronavirus that no one was prepared for.
On Monday President Trump and the coronavirus task force issued new guidelines recommending Americans limit social gatherings to less than 10 people, to restrict all non-essential travel and to not eat at bars, restaurants, or food courts.
President Trump and Doctor Anthony Fauci had previously stated that Americans would have to deal with restrictions on social gatherings for about eight weeks.
But on Monday President Trump warned Americans that life as they knew it may not return to normal until July or August.
Breitbart reported, “President Donald Trump said Monday that the coronavirus infection could continue until July or August, citing conversations that he had received from health officials.
“People are talking about July, August, something like that, so it could be right in that period of time,” Trump said after meeting with his coronavirus task force on Monday. The president held a press briefing on Monday afternoon at the White House to discuss the updated government guidance to stop the spread of the virus.”
Even thought President Trump delivered tough medicine to the American people, his press conference performance received rave reviews even from his critics at fake news CNN and MSNBC.
President Trump clearly and concisely explained to the public that while this new reality will be difficult and painful, Americans are all in this together and will come through this crisis on the other side stronger than before.
