Donald Trump told one truth about the police that Democrats did not want to hear
Democrats believe going all in on Black Lives Matter and attacking law enforcement is the path to power this November.
Donald Trump believes his message of law and order will drive turnout among his base to high enough levels to maintain his grip on the key swing states he carried in 2016.
And now Donald Trump told one truth about the police that Democrats did not want to hear.
One of the ugly lies the Fake News Media parrots is the Black Lives Matter claims that law enforcement in America is infected with “systemic racism” where bigoted cops patrol the streets searching for black Americans to terrorize.
This is a lie.
President Trump took it on during an interview with CBS News reporter Catherine Herridge.
Herridge asked Trump, “Why are African Americans still dying at the hands of law enforcement in this country?”
The President responded that Americans of all races were killed by police officers and that law enforcement was not hunting innocent black Americans for sports.
“So are white people. So are white people,” Trump responded. “What a terrible question to ask. So are white people. More white people, by the way. More white people.”
In fact, Trump was correct.
So far in 2020 more than twice as many white Americans were shot by police than black Americans.
In 2019, police shot 370 white Americans compared to 235 black Americans.
The Fake News Media adopted Black Lives Matter’s lies about police uncritically because they think this help will help Democrats oust Donald Trump from office.
Donald Trump disagrees and is taking his re-election campaign on defending law enforcement.
Americans will find out the answer on Election Night.
