Donald Trump set the internet on fire with these four jaw-dropping words about Taylor Swift
Taylor Swift is the most popular woman on the planet.
She recently endorsed Kamala Harris over Donald Trump for President.
And then Donald Trump set the internet on fire with these four jaw-dropping words about Taylor Swift.
Democrats hope Taylor Swift’s popularity rubs off
Pop singer Taylor Swift is the most popular and well-known woman alive today.
She released her first album in 2006 and has since become one of the world’s bestselling music artists.
Swift’s sold an estimated 200 million records worldwide during her career.
With over $1 billion in sales, her Eras Tour became the highest-grossing tour in history.
Swift’s relationship with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce has been a top story during the last two NFL seasons and made her even more popular.
She has nearly 300 million followers on Instagram.
And Swift has more than 400 million followers across the social media platforms.
Democrats have been praying for Taylor Swift’s endorsement in the Presidential race.
They view her popularity as a way to turn out more young voters for Vice President Kamala Harris in November.
In 2016, Swift did not endorse Hillary Clinton or former President Donald Trump and sat on the sidelines with her views.
But Swift endorsed President Joe Biden against Trump in 2020.
And Swift made the Democrats’ dream come true by announcing her support for Kamala Harris following her first debate with Trump.
“I will be casting my vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 Presidential Election,” Swift wrote on Instagram. “I’m voting for [Kamala Harris] because she fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them. I think she is a steady-handed, gifted leader and I believe we can accomplish so much more in this country if we are led by calm and not chaos.”
Donald Trump destroys Taylor Swift
But the first polls taken after Swift’s endorsement were a bad sign for the Democrats.
According to an ABC News/Ipsos poll released since the debate, only six percent said Swift’s endorsement makes them more likely to vote for Kamala.
13 percent answered that they were less likely to vote for her due to Swift’s endorsement.
81 percent said her support makes no difference at all to them.
In her endorsement announcement, Swift mentioned how Trump recently posted AI-generated photos that gave the appearance of her support.
She warned Americans about the “dangers of spreading misinformation” through the use of AI-generated art.
Swift signed off on her endorsement as “childless cat lady,” which was a dig at U.S. Senator J.D. Vance (R-OH) for his comment in 2021.
Trump weighed in on Swift’s endorsement of Harris and offered his view on the mega pop star.
And it wasn’t pretty.
“I hate Taylor Swift,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.
Those were the only four words Trump wrote about her.
He never followed up with any type of explanation as to what motivated him to post “I hate Taylor Swift.”
Perhaps the former President will explain more in the coming days about why he hates Swift.
