Donald Trump sent the globalists scurrying under a rock with this tweet
Donald Trump was elected to put America – and not the liberal world order – first.
The President did just that at the NATO summit in Brussels.
Trump sent the globalists scurrying under a rock with this tweet.
Ever since he was just a candidate for President, Trump has questioned the NATO alliance.
NATO was put together after World War II as a bulwark against the Soviet menace and the spread of international communism.
But the Soviet Empire collapsed for good in 1991 and now there are rising questions as to why America is footing the bill for a military alliance to defend against an enemy that no longer exists.
On the first day of the NATO summit President Trump blasted Germany for entering into a natural gas deal with Russia – their supposed enemy – while benefiting from the United States military.
What good is NATO if Germany is paying Russia billions of dollars for gas and energy? Why are there only 5 out of 29 countries that have met their commitment? The U.S. is paying for Europe’s protection, then loses billions on Trade. Must pay 2% of GDP IMMEDIATELY, not by 2025.

Germany is one of the wealthiest nations in the world, but they spend just 1.25% of GDP on defense.
And as Trump noted, just five of the 29 NATO members meet the goal of spending two percent of GDP on defense.
These European countries count on the U.S. to provide for their military defense so they can provide generous welfare state benefits to their citizens.
The deal is lopsided in their favor.
The European nations get to live under the protection of our military and rip us off on trade deals.
