Donald Trump made a giant announcement about his legal team that changed everything
President Trump has promised to contest the results of the 2020 election in court.
Trump’s lawyers alleged widespread voter fraud swung the election to Joe Biden.
And Donald Trump made a giant announcement about his legal team that changed everything.
On Sunday night, President Trump’s legal team issued a statement distancing the President from attorney Sidney Powell after Powell claimed that Georgia’s Republican Governor Brian Kemp benefited from Dominion Voting Systems, which Powell alleged was used to change votes.
“Sidney Powell is practicing law on her own. She is not a member of the Trump Legal Team. She is also not a lawyer for the President in his personal capacity,” President Trump’s legal advisors Jenna Ellis and Rudy Giuliani wrote.
Powell released a statement through her client Lt. General Michael Flynn agreeing with the statement and adding that she never signed on to represent the President or his campaign.
I agree with the campaign’s statement that I am not part of the campaign’s legal team. I never signed a retainer agreement or sent the President or the campaign a bill for my expenses or fees.
My intent has always been to expose all the fraud I could find and let the chips fall where they may —whether it be upon Republicans or Democrats.
Powell added that she was instead working on behalf of all the people and promised to file an “epic” lawsuit this week.
Many Trump supporters hope she has evidence to back up her claims.
Polls show 70 percent of Republicans do not believe the 2020 election was free or fair.
They – as well as Americans – deserve to know the truth about the vote on November 3.
