Donald Trump delivered one Obamagate ultimatum that no one could believe
The Obamagate scandal continues to grow and get worse for the Democrats.
Every day, new revelations expose the corrupt intent behind the original Russian collusion investigation.
And now Donald Trump delivered one Obamagate ultimatum that no one could believe.
The Justice Department released documents showing that President Barack Obama was in an Oval Office meeting where then-FBI Director James Comey floated the idea of using the 1799 Logan Act as the pretext for interviewing incoming National Security Advisor Michael Flynn about his late December 2016 phone call with the Russian Ambassador.
The FBI going after Flynn was the first domino to fall in the Russian collusion hoax and the American people want answers about what exactly the Obama administration did to try and sabotage Donald Trump’s Presidency.
But for two years, Senate Republicans refused to lift a finger to investigate the biggest political crime in American history.
Donald Trump expressed the growing frustration when he tweeted that Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell must authorize an investigation into Obamagate before it is too late.
“Time is running out. Get tough and move quickly, or it will be too late. The Dems are vicious, but got caught. They MUST pay a big price for what they have done to our Country. Don’t let them get away with this!” the President wrote on social media.
The President’s Tweet came after Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham rejected the idea of calling on former President Obama to explain himself.
“I don’t think now’s the time for me to do that. I don’t know if that’s even possible. I have grave concerns about the role of executive privilege and all kinds of issues,” Graham told the press. “I understand President Trump’s frustration, but be careful what you wish for. Just be careful what you wish for.”
Republicans will infuriate their base if they do investigate the obvious criminal activity in the Russian collusion hoax.
If Republicans don’t move to hold the Democrats accountable for trying to sabotage Trump’s Presidency, voters could shrug their shoulders and think, “What is the point of turning out in November if the GOP won’t stand up for the President?”.
