Disney is the poster child for left-wing corporations going hog wild in the culture war.

But now someone is starting to fight back.

And Disney got slapped with one lawsuit that will make them regret ever going woke.

America First Legal sued Disney over its racist Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) hiring practices.

DEI programs are how woke leftists slip cultural Marxism into corporate America by creating discriminatory standards that disadvantage certain Americans because the Left claims America is systemically racist.

American First filed the lawsuit based on publicly available documents published on Disney’s website as well as leaked internal documents.

America First Legal President Stephen Miller explained that DEI programs created de facto hiring quotas at Disney that discriminated against white men, Christians, and Jews.

“It is sad and tragic that a company whose name was once synonymous with wholesome and charming childhood fantasies is now dedicated to spreading divisive bigotry. We urge Disney to cease and desist its unlawful and destructive conduct at once,” Miller declared.

“It is patently unlawful to consider racial, ethnic, and sex-based characteristics in hiring, training, compensation, and promotion,” America First Legal complaint read. “Decades of case law have held that policies that impose racial balancing or quotas in employment, training, or recruitment, such as those presented on Disney’s websites, are prohibited.”

DEI programs are now a target at universities and corporate America thanks to two developments.

The first was the Supreme Court ending affirmative action in college admissions last year.

But the second was the outbreak of pro-Hamas protests on college campuses following the October 7 terrorist attack in Israel.

The Presidents of Harvard, the University of Pennsylvania, and MIT appeared before Congress and refused to say that stalking Jews and threatening them with anti-Semitic references ran afoul of the speech codes these colleges had in place.

Speech codes should never exist in the first place, but the college president’s disastrous performance showed that these speech codes are really used to prosecute views the Left dislikes and protect their favored groups.

But DEI proponents got way over the skis and their racial spoils system is now on the chopping block.

And with the Supreme Court striking down racial preferences in admissions it won’t be long before the court moves against racial preferences in hiring.
