Democrats plan to dump Kamala Harris for this candidate in 2024

Democrats still do not expect Joe Biden to run for re-election in 2024.

Biden not seeking a second term will set off a mad scramble within the Party.

And now Democrats plan to dump Kamala Harris for this candidate in 2024.

Normally, the Vice President is seen as the odds-on favorite to be next in line for the Presidential nomination.

But Kamala Harris is no normal Vice President.

Not only is Harris viewed as a punchline, but she’s also more unpopular than Joe Biden.

And Harris owns the signature failure of the Biden administration.

Biden named Harris as his border czar in 2021, and over four-million illegal aliens have crossed into the country on the administration’s watch.

Harris claimed she would address the root cause of illegal immigration, but she has been asleep at the switch.

The month of August saw over 200,000 illegal aliens try to invade the United States of America.

Harris’ polling and resume weakness are inviting Democrats to line up to challenge her in a 2024 Primary.

One of those Democrats is California Governor Gavin Newsom.

No one knows Kamala Harris better than Newsom, and he considers her a lightweight and a minor obstacle in his quest to become the President of the United States.

Newsom let it be known that he is 100 percent running for President if Joe Biden takes a pass on a second term.

The Wrap reports:

California Governor Gavin Newsom is “undeniably, unequivocally” planning to run for president in 2024 if President Biden chooses not to seek a second term, two individuals with knowledge of Newsom’s plans told TheWrap.

“After this midterm election is over, he absolutely is going to announce that he is running for the presidency once Biden announces that he is not running,” a leading California fundraiser with close ties to the Newsom family told TheWrap. “No ifs, ands or buts. He will run if Biden does not.”

Newsom has taken a number of steps to boost his national profile with Democrats.

Newsom spent $100,000 from his campaign war chest to run ads in Florida falsely claiming freedom is under attack in the Sunshine State.

Then he pledged to donate $100,000 to Florida Democrat candidate Charlie Crist’s gubernatorial campaign.

And Newsom also challenged Florida Governor Ron DeSantis to a CNN debate ahead of the Midterm elections after he flew 50 illegal aliens to Martha’s Vineyard.

These actions show that Newsom is running for President, and he views a feud with DeSantis as his chance to demonstrate to Democrat rank-and-file voters that he will take the fight to Republicans.

Newsom is not the only Democrat who will challenge Harris in a 2024 Primary.

But by virtue of his status as Governor of the nation’s largest state, Newsom could be the most serious candidate to wrest the nomination from Harris.
