Democrats just threatened to remove Justice Kavanaugh using this dirty trick
Judge Kavanaugh is now Justice Kavanaugh.
But that doesn’t mean Democrats have given up trying to smear him.
And they’re now resorting to this dirty trick to remove Justice Kavanaugh.
Democrats have a new campaign plank for the Midterms:
Impeach Justice Kavanaugh.
Democrat members of the House Judiciary committee are threatening to open another investigation into Justice Kavanaugh’s alleged sexual misconduct if they win the majority.
This would be the first step needed to impeach the newly confirmed Justice.
The New York Times reports:
House Democrats will open an investigation into accusations of sexual misconduct and perjury against Judge Brett M. Kavanaugh if they win control of the House in November, Representative Jerrold Nadler, the New York Democrat in line to be the chairman of the Judiciary Committee, said on Friday…
He said that if Democrats took power, he would expect the committee to immediately subpoena records from the White House and the F.B.I., which conducted an abbreviated supplemental background investigation into two of the misconduct claims. That document request would include communications between officials at both entities…
In the case of Judge Kavanaugh, even if the House did proceed to impeach him, it would take the consent of two-thirds of the Senate to remove him.
Democrats refused to accept defeat after Hillary Clinton lost to Trump in 2016.
They launched an un-ending investigation into supposed “Russia collusion.”
Now they’re threatening to do the exact same thing to Justice Kavanaugh.
It’s no surprise to see these antics come from the participation trophy generation.
Many voters cast their ballot for Trump in 2016 specifically because they did not want the Supreme Court to fall into Hillary Clinton’s hands.
If Democrats are able to seize control of Congress in the upcoming Midterms we could be back to square one.
Post-Kavanaugh hearing polls showed Republican voters have erased the enthusiasm gap.
But the Midterms are still four weeks away.
And anything could happen in this world 24-hour news cycle.
